VERY disappointed. I paid $155 for a mani/pedi. Pedicure was great, manicure was trash. None of my nails are the same length or shape. I asked to have them fixed and was told I’d have to pay for a full set again and that they didn’t have time to see me again for another 3 days. Will never be returning.
This is the last place you'll ever have to go. Everyone is so nice and the skill level is expert level. Unlike other nail salons, Lacquer takes their time to makes sure you're satisfied rather than treating you like a dollar sign. Go see Kim she is fantastic.
DO NOT GO HERE. I GOT MY NAILS DONE W MATTA AND SHE HAD AN ATTITUDE THE WHOLE TIME. anytime i asked for something or brought up something to do with MY SET she told me she "doesn't have time for that. or basically no" DOING THE BARE MINIMUM AND GIVING MINIMAL EFFORT W THE PICTURE I SHOWED HER. nails not at all what i wanted. terrible. go elsewhere. if i could give it 0 stars id do that instead.
Nary is very nice and very polite. Her skill as a manicurist are a 4/5. The only reason for less stars is that there wasn’t any extra for the gel manicure. The actual polish, 1 min lotion and cuticle oil application and I was done. The 2/5 stars is because I really liked her. The salon…I would never have stepped foot in had I known and I am shocked it is in Lincoln center. Customer service is not present when you enter, no one greeted me. I picked my color and waited about 7-10 min. I sat down and was greeted by the aroma of acrylics. The salon is dirty, i mean so incredibly unwelcoming and dirty. The woman nearest the front was eating chips while doing nails…they were mopping the floors while customers were still in the shop. Not a location I will ever visit again.
I love this place. It's very inviting and relaxing. Julie does a fantastic job on my nails and she is really cool.
I absolutely was blown by the professionalism and amazing work from my nail technician! 1st time at lacquer yesterday and the ratings were right. My technician was very gentle with my nails, always paid attention to the details, made me feel secure unlike my previous experiences with other nail techs that would either cut me, press to hard on my nail with their machine. I cant stop looking at my nails!! I highly recommend to give them a try.
The environment is so cozy and relaxing even on a busy day! I got my fill and pedicure done today and I feel so great. Thanks Lacquer Nails! Will be back in two weeks!
I have been a client since the owner of Lacquer was doing nails at her mama’s spit Fresher Nails. She has always had the best selection of Rock Star polish!!!
