Had an appointment at 4:15 did not start service until 5:15 (hour wait with appointment). Did half of my nails fast too fast poor job because they were rushed and burned my finger. Then was told to wait again for about 10 minutes until they had an opening again for my pedicure that I had now waited 90 minutes for with an appointment. The lady did a good job but rushed as well and left immediately after my nails were done (guess everyone there gets to leave whenever they feel). Then when i was done I was told to wait AGAIN. I sat there for another 30 minutes waiting for them to finish my nails. I was there 4 hours even with an appointment for a service that should take at max 90 minutes. Nail design was rushed and they shoed me away as soon as they could and did not give any discount or sincere apologies for there terrible organization, scheduling, and overall poor customer service.
I had an appointment scheduled and waited over an hour and never was seen. Once someone asked my name and appt time. They eventually asked me to come back the next day at 9 am (major storm coming so surely that appt wouldn’t have stood). I understand that they were extremely busy, but several other customers came in after me and were seen.
I went today and got a simple pedicure and manicure. It's looks like my daughter did it a week ago. The woman doing it was obviously having a bad day and in a rush. I spent $72 and will never again.
Because of a knee injury, I'm unable to trim my toe nails myself, so I go to Liz Nails. No complaints, in fact... great customer service, very sanitary facility, especially having Covid-19 Precautions in place.
I need 1 nail fixed. Just chipped polish taken off and reapplied. When I got there and asked if they I get my nails done there, I told them no and was asked, very rudely by a young woman, whom I believe was a manager, “then how do you know what color you want?” I said I knew the color and was told that every salon was different and good luck finding the color. I stayed because I just needed the nail fixed for the long weekend. I waited about 10 minutes after finding the color and the guy who fixed my nail was more concerned about about his phone than doing my nail. The salon was cluttered and had cotton balls on the floor at several stations. The station I was at was dirty. I didn’t get a thank you or anything when I was done. I will never go back here.
I hate to write this but…. I take my elderly mom here. She loves it! However, due to schedules it’s best if she can get an appointment around 3 or 4. I’ve been trying for weeks. Evidently the entire business closes down so they can pick up there kids from school. When I asked if this was long term, and if I should find an alternate place, they hung up on me.
0/5. I made an appointment for gel manis and gel pedicures for a friend and I. And we waited three hours before we got serviced and they kept acting like they were going to help us but they just would do one thing for us then disappear and we didn’t receive any help from any employees. The owner was very disrespectful when I asked her the proper way to make a appointment bc I thought I did something wrong and she blamed me for making an appointment and talking to a male employee because he didnt know what he was doing and he was her husband. Sorry no excuse when you run a business for 10years. And if you can take general appointments without mentioning a certain nail stylist do not go here. They over book and don’t know how to time manage appropriately
I have been a faithful client of Joanne's for seven years. Tucked in the Golden Gate plaza this little shop is packed. I went to Vivienne for a year and then switched to Jo because she liked doing the designs I would scheme up for my manis.
This family owned and operated business is by far the best in this area. They have extremely reasonable prices and all of the techs are quite talented.
I'm also impressed by the fact that they remember your name right after your first visit! It's a nice personal touch, in my opinion.
They have a ton of colors to choose from and I have never walked away with a bad mani.
I always recommend this business when someone compliments my nails simply because they're the best!
