Muhammad's Barber Shop has received both positive and negative feedback from customers. Let's examine the strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided.
Strengths:
1. Skilled Barbers: Multiple customers mentioned that the barbers, particularly James and Jay, are talented and can provide excellent haircuts. They specifically praised their ability to taper and create artistic designs.
2. Customer Service: Some customers highlighted the professionalism and friendliness of the barbers, specifically mentioning Jay's welcoming and punctual nature. This indicates that the shop values good customer service and aims to create a positive experience.
3. Expertise and Knowledge: Reviewers noted that the barbers, particularly Muhammad, have extensive knowledge about haircuts and hairstyling. This suggests that customers can trust their expertise and seek advice on different hairstyles.
Weaknesses:
1. Pricing: Multiple customers expressed dissatisfaction with the pricing at Muhammad's Barber Shop. Some mentioned that they found the shop overpriced compared to salons or other barber shops. There were also complaints about unexpected price increases without explanation. This suggests a lack of transparency in pricing, leading to customer confusion and frustration.
2. Rude or Unprofessional Behavior: A few customers reported negative experiences with Muhammad, the owner. They described him as rude and felt the need to ask him to be nicer. This indicates a lack of professionalism and may make customers reluctant to return or recommend the shop.
3. Lack of Attention to Detail: One customer commented that the barber was more focused on talking to customers than paying attention to the haircut. This suggests that some barbers at Muhammad's may not prioritize providing an attentive and detail-oriented service, leading to potential dissatisfaction among customers.
4. Inconsistent Pricing: One customer mentioned being charged a different price on a subsequent visit without any explanation. This inconsistency in pricing can lead to customer confusion and a lack of trust in the shop's pricing practices.
5. Perceived Size-Based Pricing: One customer felt offended by the barber's suggestion of a high price for a haircut for their child. This indicates that customers may perceive the shop to engage in discriminatory pricing practices, resulting in a negative perception of the business.
In summary, Muhammad's Barber Shop has strengths in terms of skilled barbers, customer service, and expertise in hairstyling. However, weaknesses related to pricing, rude or unprofessional behavior, attention to detail, inconsistent pricing, and perceptions of discriminatory pricing practices need to be addressed in order to improve the overall customer experience.
Best TL Reviews
James was the one who cut my hair and the only one I met so I can only speak for him. This guy does a great job, and it’s worth the money. It’s hard to find a barber that can do a decent job tapering, and he does the best.
Mohamed the owner did my sons haircut. 45$! I didn’t care. I even gave him a tip because I felt sorry for him. He’s rude, I had to actually tell him to be nice. He did a good job with the cut and knew what he was talking about, I’ll give him that, but I’ll never go back. I don’t recommend.
My son gets his hair cut from Jay, he is amazing with my son and is very artistically talented. We have never had a problem with him canceling an appointment. I recommend this place for anyone looking for an awesome hair cut!
This barber shop is super overpriced and overrated even a salon can do better than this shop. Don’t go to this barber shop, and to add to that he doesn’t even focus on cutting hair he talks to people but doesn’t pay attention to the hair. Horrible experience I would give a zero star if I had the option
Visited him one month ago with a friend and the cut was $20. Today, he charged me $25 and didn't explain when or why he raised it to $5 more. I felt like he hussled me. His cut for me was "okay." His son, Jay, did a better job. I don't think I'm going back. I felt like he was rude too.
I laughed so hard when he told me 30 bucks for a 5 year old son. Guess he thought I was a rapper or something. Not a good way to run a business. Still wondering how much my haircut was gonna be if my 5 year old was gonna be 30. I should have asked. Still funny to me. I’m going in there next week just to record him telling me 30 bucks for a five year old. I should have let him cut our hair then tell him I’m goin to the store to get the money just to be petty. ???????? but on the real that’s unprofessional and will never ever ever tell a man 30 for his son even if I feel like he not from there or isn’t a regular customer. Maybe I’m lookin for a barber to be loyal to he didn’t even know. Can’t make money if you tryna take it. If you wanna be a robber be a robber if you wanna be a barber be a barber but don’t size a man up like that. I’m feeling violated bout that one. You blew it ????????
Muhammed is a nice guy that really knows how to cut a bald fade . Expect to bring bit of cash, no cards. My cut Was $30.00, which is double what I'm used to in Kansas City, Missouri. Still worth every penny.
I get an undercut design by Jay every 2 weeks. He's very professional and welcoming. Easy to schedule and he's always on time. I'd definitely recommend scheduling with Jay for any haircut/undercut!
