Quick Facts About Nail Expo
Nail Expo Place, as described by various customers, has both strengths and weaknesses. In terms of strengths, one customer mentioned that they were able to accommodate a last-minute appointment, indicating a level of flexibility and availability. Additionally, they take Covid-19 safety measures seriously, which is important for customers concerned about their health and well-being. Customers also appreciated the skill level of the staff and found them to be nice and welcoming.
Another positive aspect mentioned by a customer is that Nail Expo Place is considered the best nail salon in the local area, with many friends and family members already going there. This suggests that they have built a reputation for providing excellent service, particularly for pedicures, which are described as "amazingggggg." Being a hidden gem can attract customers who value unique and lesser-known establishments.
However, Nail Expo Place also has some notable weaknesses. One of the most significant issues mentioned is the inconsistent customer service. One customer remarked on poor customer service, stating that the staff did not even bother to clean up after doing their nails. This lack of attention to detail can leave customers feeling dissatisfied and unappreciated, ultimately negatively impacting the overall experience. Another customer mentioned that the staff did not bother to engage in conversation, creating an unwelcoming atmosphere.
Another weakness mentioned by multiple customers is the issue of pricing. One customer noted that the prices were not constant and depended on the financial situation of the nail technician. This inconsistency in pricing can be frustrating for customers who expect transparency and consistency. Additionally, the incident where a customer was overcharged and had to go through a lengthy process to rectify the situation showcases a lack of professionalism and attention to detail in financial transactions.
Furthermore, hygiene appears to be a concern at Nail Expo Place. One customer mentioned a weird smell coming from the pedicure station, which may indicate plumbing issues. Poor hygiene can significantly impact a customer's experience and perception of the establishment.
Communication is another weakness mentioned in the comments. One customer expressed discomfort when they felt like they were being talked about in a foreign language. Language barriers can lead to miscommunication, making customers feel left out or excluded. It is important to provide a comfortable and inclusive environment for all customers.
Overall, Nail Expo Place has both strengths and weaknesses. While they may have attributes such as flexibility, Covid-19 safety measures, and skilled staff, they also face challenges in terms of inconsistent pricing, poor customer service, hygiene issues, and communication barriers. These weaknesses can impact the overall customer experience and may need to be addressed for the salon to improve and attract a more satisfied and loyal customer base.

Where to start. There’s definitely something wrong with the plumbing at this establishment because the drain in the pedicure station always has a WEIRD SMELL and sounds. The prices are never constant, depending on how broke the nail tech is that day will determine how much you get charged. The guy in the back on the left did my nails and although they were beautiful every last one of them fell off in less than 2 weeks. Poor customer service and I’m tired of the lady in the front eating her food and doing my nails at the same time.
I called in a last minute appointment and they were able to accommodate me. They take Covid safety measures very serious which I appreciated. I loved the color my nail tech picked out and would recommend this place that wants a reasonable priced mani pedi for great quality!
Very nice people and very skilled.
They were very welcoming.
First of all these guys don't have a good customer service
The lady finished doing my nails and didn't even bother to clean them up the nails then self look so ugly
I wouldn't recommend anyone to go there those ladies don't even bother to talk to you. I had the worst experience
Best nail salon in the 518. Local and a lot of my friends and family already go here. Pedicures are amazingggggg. Hidden gem.
My first time going to be serviced I told her a specific amount to take off my card. I noticed there was an extra $1 charged. I figured it was for using the card versus cash. I go get a manicure and pedicure today and the total was $55.00. My receipt said $55.00. My card was charged $66.00. When I called they said that they only charged $55.00. I walked back in the rain to show them the charge and had to wait a god twenty minutes because we were going back and forth on who to call. Finally she said she’d call her service provider. They didn’t answer because it was “after five and hard to get hold of anyone”. Finally she gave me my $11.00 back saying she “didn’t want to lose business”. I didn’t ever raise my voice. The man that gave me my service just looked at me from the back and said nothing. Anyway make sure you check your actual bank account Transactions versus the receipt they actually give you before you walk out of their door. The service I received was overall decent.
walked in with a set of nails on … asked for a fill and this salon replaced one nail and put a gloss over my nails and charged me 35$ for the same set I walked in with …. Didn’t change my polish, my design or anything…. they’re rip offs… would NOT RECCOMEND!!!
i hate when you feel like you are being talked about in a foreign language ... but good job on pedi, not so good on mani
