Quick Facts About Nails and Spa
Strengths:
1. Friendly staff: Multiple comments mention that the staff members were nice and accommodating. This suggests that the customer service at the Nails and Spa place is a strength.
2. Thorough service: Despite some negative experiences, there are comments that mention the thoroughness of the service provided. One customer appreciated the attention to detail in their pedicure, while another complimented the nail technician for doing a good job during a manicure.
3. Talented staff members: There are positive comments about specific staff members, such as Lily who is mentioned to be excellent at nails, eyebrows, and lashes, and her husband who is praised for his pedicures. This indicates that there are skilled individuals working at the salon.
Weaknesses:
1. Lack of listening to customer preferences: Several negative comments express frustration with the nail technicians not listening to what the customers wanted. One customer complained that the acrylic nails they received were nothing like what they wanted for a photoshoot. Another customer mentioned that their nails were excessively filled with acrylic, making them resemble press-ons. This shows a lack of attentiveness to customer preferences and a failure to deliver the desired results.
2. Inadequate communication about limitations: Some comments highlight the importance of nail technicians communicating their limitations. Customers expect nail technicians to be honest about what they can and cannot do. In one instance, a customer mentioned that the technician should have informed them if they were not trained enough to do long nails or detailed looks. This lack of transparency can lead to disappointment and frustration for customers.
3. Unprofessional behavior: One comment details an incident where an elderly customer was mistreated by a nail technician. The technician became upset, yelled at the customer, and shook their foot. Despite a customer's objection, the salon staff and other customers failed to address the situation, displaying a lack of professionalism and empathy. Such behavior can create a negative atmosphere and harm the salon's reputation.
4. Inconsistent quality: Some customers have had positive experiences, while others have had negative ones. This suggests that the quality of service may be inconsistent, with some customers receiving satisfactory results and others being unsatisfied.
5. Lackluster pedicure experience: Multiple comments mention subpar pedicure experiences. Customers comment on lazy and rough service, including not filing their toes properly, using lukewarm towels, and handling their feet roughly. This indicates a lack of attention to detail and a decline in the overall quality of the pedicures.
In conclusion, while the Nails and Spa place has some strengths such as friendly staff and some talented individuals, it also exhibits weaknesses in terms of not listening to customer preferences, inadequate communication, and unprofessional behavior. The inconsistent quality and lackluster pedicure experiences further contribute to the weaknesses of the establishment.
Best TL Reviews
I literally just paid over $80 after tip for the ugliest stiletto nails I ever had. The tips they have are curved instead of straight so your acrylics will look really curved and ugly. I wanted long nails for a photo shoot and because they were long the curve was so drastic I made her make them all stiletto. Helped a little bit but they’re so wide and the points look like elf shoes. I left ready to cry because this is not what I wanted at all.
The first picture is part of the idea I wanted, with the red heart tips. The only red they had was really bright it was almost pink.
Second picture is what I ended up with. I want to literally rip them off, I feel like I was just finessed.
They could have been done so much better. I will not be returning and unless you do short basic nail colors/ideas I do not recommend.
The older lady who did my nails was very sweet and did her best but it’s not what I wanted and nail techs should be able to tell you when you show them what you want what they CAN and CANNOT do. If you are not trained enough to do long nails or detailed looks, say that! I would have preferred press ons than what I have now for a professional PHOTOSHOOT. Which I made very clear. Livid.
Went in had a pedicure. I have to say though the young lady who did my pedi was more thorough. The young man did a decent job anyway.
This is the worst my nails has ever been. The lady’s don’t listen and she really messed up my nails, she added so much acrylic my nails look like press ons. A man who sits in the front filed them down but it still looks bad.
My review is due to the aggressive treatment of an elderly woman that simply asked for her Nail Technician to paint the sides of her nails (pedicure). The elderly customer asked nicely and loud enough for everyone near to hear. With no response from the Nail Technician, she asked again and the Nail Technician became upset, and yelled: “Don’t move!” Then, the Nail Technician shook the woman’s foot in her hands. I immediately stated: “Do not talk to her that way.” I was shocked that no one and I mean NO ONE asked this elderly woman if she’s ok or what all the commotion was about. She told me to mind my business and I stated again: “You shouldn’t talk to her that way.” I asked for the owner and…CRICKETS. Everyone just walking around and minding their business. It’s unfortunate that a place of business would hire someone so unprofessional and impatient to mistreat the elderly and sometimes voiceless in such a manner. I’ve resorted to writing this review, knowing there’s a 0000000.1% chance my review will make a difference for this Nail Technician to receive professionalism or decency training, especially when pertaining to the elderly. Again, this review isn’t a reflection on the outcome of a manicure/pedicure (Nail Tech.#9 did a fabulous job). It is the outcome of an establishment that did NOTHING when an elderly customer was mistreated by her Nail Technician…FYI: The Nail Technician had a roller in the back of her hair and is a middle aged woman approaching the elderly stage in life. The irony…
DONT WASTE YOUR MOMEY! I’ve been here atleast 8 times for a pedicure and never had a issues until now. I was very uncomfortable. One lady was very rough and cut the skin around my toe and then continuously sprayed rubbing alcohol and even pinched the area where she had cut me. She then continued to handle my feet in a rough manner AFTER being told she was being to rough. THEY WILL NEVER GET MY MONEY AGAIN.
The people was really nice and the service was awesome, I love my nails
PLEASE GOTO A DIFFERENT SHOP!!
