Quick Facts About Nails Hurricane Too

Nails Hurricane Too is a local nail salon that has received a mix of positive and negative comments from customers. In order to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of this establishment, let's analyze the comments provided.
Starting with the positive comments, it is evident that Nails Hurricane Too has some strengths. One customer mentioned calling ahead to check availability and was pleased to find out that they could be accommodated. This indicates good communication and customer service. The fact that the customer received the exact nail design they wanted and that the staff was in a good mood further contributes to the positive image of the salon. Another positive aspect mentioned was the gentle service and attentiveness of one of the nail technicians, Kay. This highlights the salon's ability to cater to individual requests and ensures customer satisfaction. Additionally, the comment regarding the price being satisfactory shows that Nails Hurricane Too offers competitive pricing, which can be appealing to potential customers. The overall positive experience of these customers has led them to express their intentions of returning to the salon in the future.
On the other hand, negative comments indicate some weaknesses of Nails Hurricane Too. One customer had a particularly bad experience, stating that it was the worst nail salon they had ever been to. The main issues mentioned were the high price charged for a service, the poor job done by the technician, and multiple injuries incurred during the visit. This comment sheds light on the salon's pricing policy, quality control, and the behavior of the staff. Another dissatisfied customer mentioned a lack of care and a dismissive attitude from the nail technician. This highlights a potential issue with staff training and customer service. Additionally, a customer complained about the cleanliness of the salon, specifically mentioning an oily hand rest. This raises concerns regarding the hygiene practices and cleanliness standards adhered to by the salon. Lastly, a customer voiced their disappointment with the use of a razor to remove calluses, which resulted in an injury. This suggests a lack of attention to safety protocols and proper training of the nail technicians.
Based on these comments, it can be concluded that Nails Hurricane Too has strengths in terms of availability, customer service, and competitive pricing. Their ability to listen to customer requests, provide a pleasant atmosphere, and offer satisfactory results is also noteworthy. However, weaknesses such as high prices for certain services, poor quality control, unprofessional behavior from staff, lack of cleanliness, and potential safety hazards have been highlighted. These weaknesses can affect the overall customer experience and reputation of the salon.
In order to address these weaknesses and improve the overall strengths of the salon, Nails Hurricane Too should consider implementing the following measures:
1. Review pricing policy: Conduct market research to ensure that prices are competitive and align with customer expectations.
2. Enhance staff training: Provide comprehensive training to all staff members to improve their skills and techniques, as well as customer service and professionalism.
3. Improve quality control: Regularly assess the work of the nail technicians to ensure consistent and satisfactory results. Implement measures to address and rectify any reported issues.
4. Maintain cleanliness standards: Regularly clean and sanitize all areas and tools used in the salon. Train staff on proper hygiene practices and encourage them to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
5. Prioritize safety protocols: Ensure that all staff members are trained in proper safety procedures and adhere to them consistently. This includes the use of appropriate tools and techniques to minimize the risk of injury to customers.
By addressing these weaknesses and improving on their strengths, Nails Hurricane Too has the potential to provide a better overall experience for their customers, attract more business, and build a positive reputation within the local community.

I popped in here to check out this local spot and see if I could get some short acrylic nails done (my first time). I called ahead of time to make sure they had availability and they did! I was greeted and sat promptly, I showed a picture of what I wanted and got exactly that. I was glad that everyone seemed to be in a good mood and laughing. That lifted my spirits up. I think Kay did a great job being gentle with me and listening to my requests for short cream nails. I’m happy with the service and price. I will be back here for sure!
Came back for a repaint with a new color, even though I showed up last minute Lisa painted my nails and I think they look great!
I wish 0 stars was an option!! This was the WORST nail salon that I have been to and that says a lot. Not only did they charge me 33 dollars just to get dip removed which is nearly double what I’ve always paid in other nail salons, but I was injured several times. The lady was rushing, did a terrible job, injured me several times on both my hands and feet and had the audacity to insist on her tip. There are other nail salons in the area, I would recommend going to the other ones. There’s a reason why this salon’s reviews are 2 stars.
This will be my last time! I was the first appointment of the day for a fill. I have extremely sensitive finger tips in my left hand due to nerve damage. As she was using the sander on my nail She kept missing my nail and hitting my skin around my nail bed and it was painful she had the audacity to tell me it did not hurt because it is paper! ???? I told her she did not have the right to tell me what is painful and what is not painful. She laughed and said it's paper! Sure is paper at the tip of a dremal! She could not understand she needed to be more careful. I'm disgusted by the attitude of this lady!
I LOVE this nail salon. The girls are so much fun, pleasant and 100% thorough with any nail service I have had. I have not used a different nail salon in almost 5 years. Highly recommend it here!
I had sns dip powder done. She cut me several times with the drill and the nails are not shaped well at all. And left polish all over my fingers/under nails. What a waste of money.
They sent me like this because they were closing lol before finishing, asking me to pay I don’t know how to say, but I feel sorry for their poor customer service.. ???? never recommending this salon.
I went here around noon on a week day and got a mani with a gel finish. The nail stylist was very friendly and made my stay comfortable. I had a minor nick on the cuticle that was unpleasant. But, the light finish was done well and the cleaning work was uneventful. I have a mani pedi done one every 3 to 4 months or so I'm easy to please. My only real complaint was a note about cleanliness. The hand rest was shiny when I sat down and it didn't seem like it was from hand sanitizer. It was oily like from one of the fluids used to treat nails. At any rate, there isn't much competition that I noticed in this shopping center so I would visit again if I were waiting in this area again. But, I would be more assertive and ask for a wipe if needed to rub down the hand rest.
Good at polishing but last night this one lady used a razor to remove callus from my feet and mistakenly cut me. My foot is kinda sore this morning.
