Quick Facts About Quick Cuts Salon
Quick Cuts Salon, as evidenced by the comments, has a mix of strengths and weaknesses. The salon is characterized by its affordability and speed, but it also receives criticism for its lack of professionalism, language barriers, and subpar haircut experiences.
One of the strengths mentioned multiple times is the speed with which they provide haircuts. Customers appreciate the efficiency of the salon, as they can get a haircut quickly without the need for an appointment. This is particularly beneficial for individuals who are busy or have limited time to spare.
Another positive aspect mentioned is the affordability of the haircuts. Many customers appreciate the low prices, with basic cuts reportedly starting at $7. This makes Quick Cuts Salon an attractive option for individuals looking for a budget-friendly haircut.
Some customers also express satisfaction with the skills and abilities of certain barbers. Commenters mention that some of the female barbers are knowledgeable about their job and provide good haircuts. There is specific praise for an unnamed barber (#9) who is described as young, friendly, fun, and skilled at fades.
However, despite these strengths, there are significant weaknesses that are repeatedly mentioned in the comments. One common complaint is the lack of professionalism displayed by some of the staff members. Customers report feeling disregarded, as if they are inconveniencing the staff by showing up for a haircut. This unprofessional behavior potentially includes rough handling during the haircutting process, as one commenter mentions their son being held roughly.
Language barriers also emerge as a weakness of Quick Cuts Salon. Multiple commenters express frustration with employees who struggle to communicate in English. This can lead to misunderstandings and difficulties in conveying desired haircut styles. One commenter even mentions that their barber (#4) only speaks broken English, further complicating the communication process.
Numerous customers share negative experiences with specific barbers. Isabel (#2) and Isabella (#4) are frequently mentioned as barbers who do not fulfill their clients' requests and deliver unsatisfactory haircuts. Isabel specifically is described as uninterested, not asking for preferences, and providing outdated and subpar cuts. Isabella, on the other hand, is accused of not listening and excessively cutting beyond the desired trim. The dissatisfaction is so significant that one customer mentions immediately going to another salon to fix their haircut.
One of the more concerning weaknesses mentioned is the alleged mistreatment and mockery of certain customers by Linda (#5). Multiple commenters claim that Linda mocks and discriminates against individuals, particularly those of Middle Eastern descent. This behavior creates an uncomfortable and unwelcoming environment for those customers.
Additional weaknesses include the lack of a credit card payment option, as the salon is cash-only. One customer expresses frustration at this policy, especially because they were not made aware of it until after waiting for a haircut. This inconvenience and lack of transparency is seen as a negative aspect of the salon.
In summary, Quick Cuts Salon is praised for its affordability and speed. However, it receives criticism for unprofessional behavior, language barriers, and subpar haircuts from specific barbers. The alleged mistreatment and discrimination reported by some customers also contribute to the negative perception of the salon. It is important to consider these strengths and weaknesses when deciding whether to visit Quick Cuts Salon for a hair service.
Best TL Reviews
The price went up $10. One of them was holding my son very rough! They are not professional. I tried to recut my child hair when we got home to fix their work. The good thing about them is that they are fast.
Good place for nice hair cut.all female barbers but they know their job
Just got my hair cut at this place. Do yourself a favor and never come here. The ladies couldn't seem bothered that a customer showed up for a cut. The woman who cut my hair was Isabel. She just seemed like I bothered her to even show up. She did the worst job ever cutting my hair and I genuinely mean that. She didn't even ask me what I wanted. She just had me sit down and immediately started cutting. I had to explain to her multiple times what I wanted and even then she got it wrong. Could barely speak English. While cleaning up the neck area, she was so rough that my whole neck is red from the shaver. It burns, and that's coming from someone who shaves with a razor every day. I asked her to give me a part and a line in my hair and she MADE ME BLEED. She was that rough. And all she had to say for it was, "it'll be ok" in broken English. Worst hair cut experience ever. Not worth even a penny of my money or a minute of time. I went to another hair cut place right away just to fix they mess she created, doesn't matter the cost. Just don't ever come here.
Cheapest hair cut in town. Also not the best either. Only 2/5 know how to cut hair. #4 is the worst (I think her name is Isabella). She doesn't listen to her clients needs. She does whatever she wants with the client's hair, almost all the people that sit on her chair walk out with the same haircut. Her cuts are so bad and outdated. I already knew of her reputation but decided to trust her with my son's hair. I told her that I have been trying to grow my son's hair for many months, that we only wanted .5" off, a basic small trim. Well, of course she didn't listen and shaved half his head off! I was so upset and then when questioned on why she had done that to my sons head she acted like she didn't understand English.
#5 Linda always does a good job but is very judgemental and is always mocking potential clients. It's very clear she makes fun of people because right after she talks to a client in English, she then turns around to her co-worker (lady in spot#1) and speaks to her in another language and then they both start to laugh. I have witness this almost every time I go. She especially shows dislike to middle eastern folks and makes them wait longer than others.
#9 is the best. I don't know her name but she is the youngest one of them all and I think she only works Sundays. She's the only one that is kind to her clients and is very friendly and fun. She's the only one there that does an amazing job cutting hair and the only one that knows how to do fades.
This is my son first haircut place and the only one... He's been Gert NG his hair cut there since he was 1, he is 9 now ..Linda is the best!!!! She remembers my son hair everytime...i never have to say do it this way or do it that way... Top notch
I showed her picture of how I wanted my hair. She messed up my hair so badly. Not at all the style I asked for. I will never go back and dont recommend it to anyone. Dont understand how you can show someone 4 pictures of how you want your hair cut and they dont cut it at all how you asked.
If you want your hair cut quickly and inexpensively (basic cuts are $7!), without an appointment, this is the place. They treat me well and cut my hair. That's all I can ask for!
This is a cash only business which was not displayed when I walked in and sat down and waited nearly 20 minutes for the person ahead of me to finish so I could receive a haircut. Apparently their cash only sign had fallen over. The issue wasn't that the sign had fallen over nor was it that I didn't have any cash because who carries money these days and that I had wasted 20 minutes.. it was the dirty look I received for leaving after I told them I didn't realize they were cash only. Hard pass on ever going back there
