Quick Facts About Suki's Barber Shop
Suki's Barber Shop has received a mix of positive and negative comments, which provide insight into its strengths and weaknesses. In this analysis, we will discuss the strengths and weaknesses of Suki's Barber Shop based on the comments provided.
One of the strengths of Suki's Barber Shop is the quality of the haircuts. Several commenters express their satisfaction with the haircuts they received and even recommend specific barbers, such as Angie and Gina. This indicates that the barbers at Suki's have the skills and expertise to provide excellent haircuts. Additionally, one commenter mentions that Suki's is their favorite place for a "to skin" fade, suggesting that the barbers can deliver on specific haircut requests.
Another strength of Suki's Barber Shop is the friendly staff. Multiple comments highlight the friendly and professional nature of the barbers. This creates a welcoming atmosphere for customers and contributes to a positive experience. Commenters appreciate the staff's friendliness and feel comfortable returning to Suki's due to the pleasant interactions they have had.
Cleanliness is another strength mentioned in the comments. One individual states that Suki's is the cleanest barbershop in the area. A clean and well-maintained shop is crucial for attracting customers and creating a hygienic environment. The emphasis on cleanliness indicates that Suki's values professionalism and customer satisfaction.
On the other hand, there are also weaknesses mentioned in the comments. One weakness is the pricing structure. One commenter expresses frustration with the extra fee charged for long hair, which they feel is unfair since the haircut itself is the same. This suggests that Suki's may need to revisit their pricing policy to avoid customer dissatisfaction and confusion.
Another weakness highlighted in a comment is the lack of professionalism from the staff. A customer mentions that the Korean women at Suki's show no class and do not even say thank you when they receive payment. They also describe potential engagement in ethnic tensions and a generally negative attitude. These observations indicate a lack of customer service skills and professionalism, which can significantly impact the overall experience for customers.
In terms of haircut quality, one comment describes a bad haircut experience at Suki's. The customer received an uneven and poorly executed cut, with noticeable differences in hair length on different sides. This suggests that there may be inconsistencies in the skill level of the barbers, and quality control measures need to be improved.
In conclusion, Suki's Barber Shop demonstrates strengths in the quality of haircuts, friendly staff, and cleanliness. Positive comments commend the barbers' skills and professionalism. However, weaknesses lie in the pricing structure, lack of professionalism from some staff members, and occasional inconsistencies in haircut quality. It is important for Suki's Barber Shop to address these weaknesses to improve overall customer satisfaction and maintain its strengths in the market.

Angie used to cut my hair here. Of my 3 years at Fort Drum she was the only one to truly listen to what I wanted and not cut my hair short. She is amazing I hope she still works here. I would recommend Angie if you need a haircut to push regs and are stationed at Fort Drum.
First, the haircuts are fantastic. My issue is that they charge a ridiculous fee if the hair is a little long to begin. Today I was charged $20 for what should have been a simple $12 child's fade cut because my son's hair was long. This used to be a $2 fee but now it's apparently just $20. It's the same clip cut whether it's long or short to begin so why the extra fee?
Sukis is by far the best barbershop in the Fort Drum area. All the ladies in there cut exceptionally well, personal favorite is Gina, but each one of them can give you a great cut.
Bad hair cut. These Korean women are very nasty. They show no class. They don't even say thank you when they receive the money and they seem to engage in ethnic tensions. Shame, shame, and more shame. They are afraid that someone would come and attack them as it happened before to them in the streets of America. They are so paranoid and cynical. It's not a good place.
I’ve tried pretty much all of the barbershops around drum to include salmon run mall and this is my favorite place for friendly staff and an actual “to skin” fade
My son likes his "high and tight", visiting family, he wanted to wait until we were here for them to do it, they always do a wonderful job.
Worst "barber shop" in town. I went in because all other places were packed. I asked for a medium fade with an inch off top and what I got was one side kind of close to a medium fade but the other side was a skin all the way up. Now for the kicker, one half of the top was cut shorter like I asked but the other side was barely trimmed. So the side that was skin all the way up has 3 inch hair while the medium ish fade side has 2 inch hair and is extremely noticeable. Complete hack job of a "barber shop" and I can't even say it's worth the 10 dollars. You're better off having your buddy do it who says they can do it cheaper.
Hands down the best barbershop as well as the cleanest in the area. They all do a fantastic job and are always super nice and professional. Gina is the only person that has touched my hair since being stationed here. Only place I will go ????
