Quick Facts About Taqueria la Mordida

Taqueria la Mordida has a mix of positive and negative comments, which provide insight into both its strengths and weaknesses. In this analysis, we will explore the strengths and weaknesses of the restaurant based on these comments.
Starting with the strengths, one recurring theme is the quality of the food. Multiple commenters mention that the food is surprisingly decent, delicious, and savory. The camerones Diablo and birria are particularly praised for being spicy and hitting the spot. The vegetarian and vegan options, such as the vegetarian burrito, are also highlighted as some of the best in the area. Additionally, the salsa bar is highly praised as being delicious and the molcajete salsa is specifically mentioned as a killer salsa. This shows that the restaurant excels in creating flavorful and satisfying dishes, both for meat lovers and vegetarians/vegans.
Good customer service is also mentioned as a strength. The staff is described as nice, and one commenter specifically mentions the staff's friendliness. This indicates that the restaurant has a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere, which contributes to a positive dining experience. The outdoor seating is also appreciated, as it provides a pleasant environment for customers to enjoy their meals.
Another strength is the consistent quality of the food. One commenter mentions that they have been to the restaurant at least 15 times and the food has been consistently delicious. This suggests that the restaurant maintains a high standard for their dishes and is able to consistently deliver quality food to their customers.
Moving on to the weaknesses, price is mentioned as a significant drawback of the restaurant. One commenter mentions that the food is overpriced by a long shot. This may deter potential customers who are looking for more affordable dining options. In addition, another commenter mentions that the food lacks flavor, suggesting that the taste of the dishes could be improved.
In terms of service, one negative comment highlights a disappointing experience with a to-go order. This indicates that the restaurant may have some issues with order accuracy and customer satisfaction. Another commenter mentions feeling ignored by the staff, as Hispanic customers were served before them. This suggests a potential issue with customer prioritization and fairness in service.
Furthermore, there are complaints about the consistency of the food. One commenter mentions that the enchiladas were oily and lacked filling, and another mentions that the Flautas were hard as a rock. Inconsistency in the quality of dishes can be a significant weakness for a restaurant, as it can lead to customer dissatisfaction and a loss of trust in the establishment.
To summarize, the strengths of Taqueria la Mordida include decent and delicious food, with a variety of options for both meat lovers and vegetarians/vegans. The salsa bar and traditional-style dishes are also highlighted as strengths. The restaurant is praised for its good customer service, with friendly staff and a pleasant outdoor seating area. Additionally, the consistent quality of the food is mentioned as a positive aspect. However, weaknesses include the high prices, lack of flavor in some dishes, potential issues with order accuracy and customer prioritization, and inconsistencies in the quality of the food. Despite the weaknesses, Taqueria la Mordida seems to have loyal customers who highly recommend the place, emphasizing its strengths.

Best TL Reviews

The food is surprisingly decent. We ordered the camerones Diablo and birria. They are both spicy and hit the spot. There is a plethora of menu items which might seem abit complicated but overall is repetitive with different meats separating each dish.
Bomb! Best vegetarian (vegan) burrito I’ve had in the bay. Nice staff, killer salsa bar and great outdoor seating. Would recommend!!
We ordered tacos de bañallados and the El Huarache for the first time and we loved it !! The best part for me is that the salsa had a nice kick to it and after burn. Everything was savory, fresh and everything I except a good Mexican restaurant to be. If you haven't tried it , I highly recommend.
This place makes the best tacos for sure! The rice, beans, salad, and salsa were amazing, but the Flautas that I ordered were hard as a rock. The grilled chicken tacos were definitely the best.
The food is overpriced by a long shot, the food has decent texture but lacks flavor. They messed up my to-go order. The worst thing is that I had to wait a very long time for my order while all the Hispanic customers were served before me. I guess that’s what I get for leaving a good tip.
I don't know if it's under new management, but just not the same. My enchiladas were oily and hardly filled. Maybe one scoop of rice and beans (which were good), but overall not good. I'll not be going back.
I highly recommend this place! Having been born and raised in San Francisco, you get to know where the good taquerias are (most are in the Mission district). Now that I'm in Pacifica, THIS is my go-to place! So far, I've had their super chicken burrito and flautas, and both are absolutely delicious!
I visited another taqueria in Pacifica, but they weren't nearly as good! I've been here at least 15 times so far and it's consistently yummy, yummy, yummy!!!
Highly recommended!!!
Love this place for their traditional style dishes! They make a killer molcajete salsa! ☺️????????
