Quick Facts About TAQUERIA VIVA VILLA - Fontana, CA
Taqueria Viva Villa is a Mexican restaurant located in Fontana, CA. While it has received mixed reviews, it is important to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the establishment based on the comments provided.
Starting with the strengths, one customer mentioned that the Quesabirria was "REALLY delicious." This suggests that the restaurant offers at least one menu item that has a favorable taste and could potentially be a standout dish. Additionally, the commenter expressed a desire to order the Quesabirria again, indicating that it left a positive impression.
Another positive aspect is the ambiance and atmosphere of the restaurant. One individual mentioned that the establishment has an "impressive remix of old school and modern cool atmosphere." This unique feel to the business can be appealing to customers who appreciate a different dining experience. Additionally, the outside dining area was praised for its decorations, which can contribute to an enjoyable dining experience.
Taqueria Viva Villa also offers tripe meat, which is not commonly found in many places. This could be seen as a strength for those seeking a specific type of meat that is not readily available elsewhere. The commenter stated that everything they had eaten so far has been delicious, indicating a general satisfaction with the quality of the food.
Moving on to the weaknesses, one common complaint in the comments is the poor service. One dissatisfied customer stated that the staff lacked enthusiasm and did not exhibit the desire to serve their customers. This can be a significant downside as good customer service is essential to the success of any restaurant.
Another weakness highlighted was the inconsistency in the quality of the food. One comment mentioned that the menudo dish had only 12 pieces of meat in a large bowl of broth, which was disappointing considering the price. Another individual noted that the meat they received was old and hard, possibly from the previous day. Inconsistent food quality can lead to a loss of trust and repeat customers.
Several comments also mentioned issues with cleanliness. Complaints included dirty bathrooms, dirty tables, and a dirty baby seat. These hygiene concerns can significantly impact the overall dining experience and may deter potential customers.
In terms of menu options, one comment suggested that Taqueria Viva Villa's menu is not extensive. While they offer tripe meat, which is unique, it is important for a restaurant to provide a wide variety of options to cater to different tastes and dietary preferences. Lack of variety can limit the appeal of the establishment.
Based on the comments provided, Taqueria Viva Villa has both strengths and weaknesses. It is praised for its delicious Quesabirria, unique ambiance, and the availability of tripe meat. However, poor service, inconsistent food quality, cleanliness issues, and a limited menu are areas that need improvement. Overall, it is important for the restaurant to address these weaknesses in order to provide a better dining experience for its customers.
Best TL Reviews
Thee worst Mexican food ever. We used to come here all the time. We were very disappointed this time. We drove all way from Palm Springs. The menudo was a big bowl of broth with 12 pieces of meat.... prices was $12.99. The shrimp cocktail smells spoiled. The asada plate was ground beef with too much seasoned salt. I do not recommend this place
I ordered the Quesabirria and the garlic shrimp. The Quesabirria was REALLY delicious. The garlic shrimp was just ok... I will definitely be ordering the Quesabirria again next time. ????
First time trying this place since we seen many people eating there and good reviews. We got tacos and a burrito. The tacos were good and the red salsa was very good better. My husband said he wasn’t a fan of the burrito because his tortilla had a shrimp flavor and smell. I also got a champurrado and wow it was very delicious. The down side are the bathrooms were dirty and old also our table was dirty and our baby seat.
Usually the food is fresh & really good & so is the service. This time...it was NOT!! The meat was old & hard, maybe from previous day & when they made a mistake & we asked for the food they forgot, the lady was kinda rude. It was uncalled for....
We stopped here for lunch during the week. There was a bit of a wait to order. I ordered the cheese tamales and side of rice. The rice was really good, but the tamales were pretty dry. The Horchada was good. The outside dining area is really nice, I loved all of the decorations
An impressive remix of old school and modern cool atmosphere. The whole business had a unique feel to it but the food was traditional home style. Definitely a new favorite spot.
Taqueria Viva Villa restaurant should hire staff who really want to serve their customers, poor service, the food I ordered had no taste at all.
One of the few places that had tripe meat. Said far everything I've eaten has been delicious. Double check your order, though. They tend to not give you sides. The food is worth the price. Not extensive, though.
