Quick Facts About The Barbers Cabin

Strengths:
1. Affordable prices: Many customers appreciated the fact that The Barbers Cabin offered haircuts at a reasonable price, with rates ranging from £12 to £15. This made it accessible to a wide range of customers, including students and the elderly.
2. Good quality haircuts: Multiple customers mentioned that they received good haircuts at The Barbers Cabin. The staff listened to their requests and delivered cuts that met their expectations. This consistent quality likely contributed to the positive word-of-mouth and repeat business.
3. Friendly staff: The friendliness of the staff was highlighted by several customers. They felt welcomed and appreciated the warm atmosphere created by the barbers. The staff engaged in pleasant conversations and made customers feel comfortable during their visits.
4. Reliability and consistency: Customers mentioned that The Barbers Cabin delivered consistent quality haircuts each time they visited. This reliability made them confident in returning to the salon regularly, knowing they would receive good service.
5. Convenient opening hours: The Barbers Cabin had extended opening hours, including late evenings. This accommodated customers who worked late or had other commitments during regular business hours. The flexibility in timing was seen as a positive aspect of the salon.
6. Skilled Korean hairdresser: One customer specifically mentioned the expertise of a Korean hairdresser at The Barbers Cabin. They were pleased with the consistent and excellent results achieved by this hairdresser. This expertise likely attracted customers who preferred their specific hairdressing style.
Weaknesses:
1. Lack of communication: One customer mentioned that the staff at The Barbers Cabin could be more talkative and engaging with customers. They felt that the staff sometimes focused too much on their work and not enough on creating a conversational and friendly environment.
2. Small and claustrophobic space: A customer mentioned that the shop felt small and claustrophobic. This might not have been a problem for everyone, but it could be uncomfortable for those who prefer more spacious salon environments.
3. Inconsistent opening times: One customer complained that they waited outside for 20 minutes without anyone showing up. They believed that if the salon was not planning to open or would be starting late, a note should be placed on the door to inform customers. This lack of information wasted their time and could lead to frustration.
In summary, The Barbers Cabin had several strengths, including affordable prices, good quality haircuts, friendly staff, reliability, convenient opening hours, and skilled hairdressers. However, areas for improvement include better communication with customers, addressing the small and claustrophobic space, and ensuring consistent opening times to avoid inconveniencing customers. Overall, the salon seemed to have a positive reputation and had many satisfied customers.

Waited outside for 20 minutes and no one turned up. Opening hours on Sunday are from 11. If you're not planning on being open for the day, or starting late, then put a note on the door please. Waste of my time
Will take up the owner's offer later, as was for daughter, who has had her hair cut in the interim
An affordable £15 haircut. Very small shop which felt a bit claustrophobic, but I enjoyed the eerie, skull theme which may then some away. The friendly woman followed my exact directions for my cut and ultimately did a good job. Nothing special, but got the job done. I do wish the staff would be a bit more talkative to the customer instead of minding their own business (literally).
Excellent Service good time spent in getting styling right
Really good haircut. Was pleasantly surprised. Very quick. Barber listened to my request and cut hair accordingly; would not hesitate to return. Great local barber
Really good haircut. They were even able to salvage a small disaster which I had when I went to a barbers in Wimbledon.
Owner is v friendly and might even treat you to an impromptu tune on his guitar!
Reliable quality each time and open late so I can get there after work.
I sadly forgot the name of the Korean hairdresser at The Barbers Cabin – so if she or any of the Cabin staff are reading this, I love how she does my hair! Always a great result with a relaxed atmosphere. As such I always aim to go on a Tuesday morning as this appears to be her regular spot. Great haircut, great price, no pretence – recommended.
good price, friendly stuff but most importantly good cut. Never too busy and if they are you can wait outside on the bench or inside on the sofa enjoying a good chat. A+ service.
Ali and the team are always welcoming and with cuts from £12, kids, students and the elders are catered for here.
