The first picture is Zoe's hair, what she asked for and her outcome the SECOND time they attempted to fix it. The second picture is what it looked like the first time they touched it. 4 year virgin hair. Ruined. They didn't charge her, but they also didn't have someone intervene after the hairdresser butchered it the first time. I'd recommend a different salon. The owner keeps deleting reviews from Facebook so I came here to warn you. Jordan was the hairdresser's name.
Changing it to one star because now the owner is guilt tripping Zoe and lying about her hair being "box dye" black when it wasn't (see pictures). We aren't key board warriors btw, we are just warning others that the hair stylist and the owner are shady and if they mess your hair up they won't fix it or own up to it, just try to lie, cover up and make you look like the bad guy for wanting what you asked for!
I love my hair. Jordan did an amazing job with the colors and I couldn't be happier with it. It was a true hit with the Mardi Gras team. Thank you.
Jordan is hands down the most amazing hair stylist I’ve ever experienced. She took the time to listen to me ramble on about colors I wanted, intensity, etc., and she was able to take everything I ever dreamed and make it a reality for me.
Not only is her presence so soothing, but she made sure I was 100% comfortable at all times and that I was surrounded by laughter and positive energy through the entire experience. She can take your visions and make them HAPPEN. Jordan is amazing at everything she does and her magical fingers in your hair is no different. Go see Jordan!!!!
As a local hairdresser myself, who owns my own salon, I still love visiting these ladies and having Lacy do my hair. I've been a client if hers for at least 10 years and never been disappointed. She is knowledgeable ,experienced, and puts the integrity of hair over everything else. She won't let you leave until you're happy. Cute salon with fun atmosphere.
You won't be disappointed. Do not believe negative reviews posted by people who dont live here or have only had 1 experience here. As a client, it is your responsibility to be honest about what is on your hair prior to any stylist touching it.
As someone who has only ever had 3 people touch my hair in the past 25 years of my life, I trust no one in the world as much as I trust Jordan. She is an amazing cosmetologist and does FANTASTIC work. Whether I’m looking for color, a cut, a nice fade, or if I ever wanted to bring back the Macklemore I know I can depend on Jordan. She can also makes your eyebrows on point!
The establishment is to DIE for. Lacy has done so well creating such a stellar atmosphere. You feel so at home as soon as you walk through the doors.
I drive all the way to Lagrange from Columbus, Ga just to see these amazing ladies. You will not go wrong visiting Shear Designs!
Jordan is fantastic! She has been waxing my eyebrows for a year and a half and I wouldn't go anywhere else! She keeps the shape, not too thin, and is super polite! She makes sure you're comfortable and always makes sure you're satisfied!
I absolutely love Shear Talent and ALL of the staff there! Having my cosmetology license myself I am very picky with who touches my hair. I moved to LaGrange eight years ago and it took about six and half years of me trying salons to just end up driving back to Peachtree City because no one understood what I wanted. And unfortunately my stylist had moved out of state as well. I was referred to Shear Talent and Lacy by my niece. The first time I sat in her chair I was nervous after five minutes I knew I had found my new stylist! And then when I left that day it just confirmed my feelings! LOVE THIS PLACE! I also love the fact that I can sit down and say I think I want a change show Lacy my ideas and then for her to know what I really want. I think so many of us have ideas when we see something on Pinterest but forget about the filters, and what our hair is actually capable to do! The last time I went to Lacy was this past Friday night! I sat down told her I was ready to cut it off and do something crazy! But what I really wanted was to go lighter and just a trim. Lacy knew!!! And that is what I mean when I tell you that you can not ask for a better place! Lacy knew I didn't really want to cut all of my hair off yet and she knew I just wanted to be Summer Hair ready! The other two girls in this salon are amazing as well! Destiny does my daughters hair and my daughter is not only picky but doesn't like a lot of people! Destiny not only works magic on her hair but she makes my daughter feel like one of the girls! And Jordan even though she is the newer stylist I can tell is already amazing! I watched her work Friday evening is it was magic! I have also seen her amazing ability and talent with make-up and special events! These three are pure gold and if anyone tells you different then they are just jealous trolls!!! I have attached two pictures one from the salon and the other on Saturday!
I have been following Mrs. Lacey from shop to shop for 8 year- I am so happy she has a place to call her own now! The newly renovated salon is not only beautiful but the atmosphere is wonderful, all the ladies that work there are so lovely and in particular Mrs. Lacey is so fun to talk to and I always leave laughing. And so much craft is put into her work and her level of skill is amazing! Just all around a really wonderful place with wonderful ladies.
