Quick Facts About Village Market
However, recently the service has gone downhill. The staff is no longer friendly and it seems like they don't care about their customers. On top of that, the prices are ridiculously high. It feels like they are taking advantage of the fact that they are the only store in the area. I will not be returning.
I love Village Market. The store is always clean and well-organized. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have a great selection of products and I can usually find everything I need. The meat department is particularly impressive, with a professional butcher on site. The Mexican-style prepared meats are a favorite of mine. While prices can be a bit high, it's worth it for the convenience and quality. I highly recommend Village Market.
I have mixed feelings about Village Market. On one hand, it's great to have a store in the Village that has everything I need. It saves me from driving long distances to other grocery stores. The staff is generally helpful, but sometimes they can be a bit indifferent. However, I do have to mention that the prices are quite high. It feels like they are taking advantage of the fact that they are the only store in the area. If they were more competitive with their pricing, I would have no complaints.
I used to love Village Market, but recently I have been disappointed. The store feels cluttered and disorganized. It looks like they are renovating, but it's taking forever and in the meantime, the store just looks messy. The prices have also gone up significantly. It feels like they are trying to make up for the expenses of the renovations by charging more. I hope they can get back on track soon because I used to enjoy shopping there.
I have been going to Village Market for years and I must say, it's a hit or miss. Sometimes I have a great experience and sometimes it's terrible. The staff can be friendly and helpful one day and then rude and dismissive the next. The prices are also incredibly high, especially for a small store in a small town. I wish they would lower their prices and improve their customer service because they have potential to be a great store.
Overall, Village Market has its strengths and weaknesses. The store offers a wide variety of products and has a full-service meat department with a professional butcher. The convenience of having a grocery store in the Village is also a big advantage. However, the store has received criticism for its high prices, lack of fresh produce, and inconsistent customer service. The ongoing renovations and cluttered appearance have also been a point of concern. Village Market has the potential to be a great store, but it needs to address these weaknesses and focus on providing better value and customer experience.

Amazing store. They sell this instabirria here it was delicious ! Easy to make just add water + meat and sauce. Must try ! I love birria !
This place has been my savior since I started working this job out there. Prices are as high as you would expect but at least they have it and you don't have to drive 5 to 10 miles for every little thing you might need
Kool little store in the village, pretty much
got little of everything an grocery store has kinda lol...good for the elderly ppl how live next store ???? my grandparents included!
Glad to have them in the Village. Tha only complaint... their veggies $ fruit is not always fresh.
Nice clean store . Full service meat department with butcher on site. The prices are extremely high. markup is comparable to prices in Santa Barbara, not for our area. Prices are hiked due to convenience of being only store with food within 2 miles. Not local friendly in this manner.
Had an overall good experience at this store. Everything felt a little cluttered and "mid-renovation" inside. But, I got the four pieces of bacon, five jalapeno peppers, cream cheese, bag of frozen tarot tots and rocky road ice cream I needed, no problem. The store employees were helpful and friendly. I'll be back.
Everyone there knows me well and treats me like family. Because it is convenient, some of the non-staple items cost a little bit more. I am most impressed with their old-school Meat Department. They have a professional butcher who cuts and packages meats and delicious items to order. The Mexican-style prepared meats are extra delicious. In most cases their price is comparable to the larger stores in town. In some cases they have the competition's prices beat! Think back, if you can, to the Neighborhood Markets in the 50's & 60's. This will definitely take you there!
UPDATED! The bad owners are now gone! I have changed my review as this place has undergone new management! Yay! I stopped in and am really happy with the change and customer service
Great job!

GO THE EXTRA MILE. This store is only one in the Village and they know they've got you. Prices are dollars higher. They prey on the wealthy people in the area as well as the people who have no choice when they need something fast.
Horrible. I had frequented this store for almost a year. The ladies were nice to me and personable. I wouldn't mind paying more for an item if I like the business and the business appreciates my patronage.
