Quick Facts About Village Paws
Village Paws place has several strengths that can be observed from the comments provided. Firstly, one customer mentions that the staff at Village Paws did an excellent job with their dog's nails and it was affordable. This demonstrates that Village Paws offers high-quality services at a reasonable price point. Additionally, the comment mentions that the proceeds from Village Paws' services support shelters and rescues. This is a significant strength as it shows that Village Paws is committed to giving back to the community and supporting animals in need.
Another strength highlighted in the comments is Village Paws' use of a dremmel tool for nail trimming. One customer mentions that the dremmel tool allowed them to get their dog's nails very short and smooth. This technique is advantageous as it minimizes the risk of cutting the nails too short, which can cause pain or injury to the pet. By using a dremmel tool, Village Paws demonstrates their commitment to providing a safe and gentle grooming experience for pets.
Furthermore, many customers appreciate the friendly and welcoming atmosphere at Village Paws. One comment mentions that the staff made them and their dog feel comfortable and at ease. Another customer praises the staff for being kind and finding a way to accommodate them, even when the business was busy. These comments indicate that Village Paws has a staff that prioritizes customer service and creates a positive environment for both pets and their owners.
Additionally, Village Paws is commended for their care and empathy towards pets. One customer mentions that the staff shed tears with them when they learned about their dog being put down. This demonstrates that Village Paws not only provides grooming services but also genuinely cares about the well-being and emotions of their customers and their pets. This level of compassion is a distinct strength of Village Paws.
However, despite these strengths, there are a few weaknesses mentioned in the comments. One customer states that they were dissatisfied with the grooming services provided by one specific groomer. They mention that the groomer had a bad personality, was impatient, and not sociable. This comment suggests that there may be inconsistencies in the quality of service depending on the groomer assigned to the pet. This could potentially be a weakness for Village Paws if the negative experiences with certain groomers become more prevalent.
Another weakness mentioned is the possible issue of overbooking. One customer notes that even in the early morning, there were already too many dogs present, resulting in a chaotic environment. This indicates that Village Paws may struggle with managing their appointment scheduling and ensuring a calm and organized atmosphere for pets and their owners. This can be a significant weakness as it may lead to increased stress levels for the animals and a less enjoyable experience for the customers.
In conclusion, Village Paws place has several strengths that make it an attractive option for pet grooming. These strengths include affordable prices, support for shelters and rescues, the use of a dremmel tool for nail trimming, a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and a staff that genuinely cares for pets. However, there are also some weaknesses highlighted in the comments, such as inconsistencies in the quality of service provided by certain groomers and the possibility of overbooking leading to a chaotic environment. It is important for Village Paws to address these weaknesses to ensure consistent and high-quality service for all customers.

They did my dog's nails - it went very well. It was affordable, and they did a great job. The proceeds from a lot of what they do supports shelters and rescues, so that's a plus.
My vet's clinic was bought by yet another big corporation, and the last time I brought my dog for nails/glands they charged me $66! Village Paws saved me from having to do that again. Additionally, VP uses a dremmel on the nails, so they were able to get them very short and smooth.
They were very welcoming when we walked in, and got us in and out fast. We made an appointment, and it seems like this is the way to go, since the place is busy and kinda small.
Allison did such a wonderful job with Kaylee. I will be coming back for sure. I will come during the week though by ourself so it not such a long visit next time, seeing we had 4 dogs total being done.
Everyone there is absolutely the greatest. They treat my dog Keiko so well and tell me how sweet she is every time I take her in. I highly recommend going to them for all grooming needs. The prices are very reasonable.
Sooooo friendly !!! Made me & my dog ao comfortable. They offer free nail trims w/ cuts!! Handles animals with anxiety amazing
Lola looks great! Everyone is very kind there and find a way to get you in- even when they are super busy.
They really care for your pets- they learned about our pup being put down - who've they groomed for many years & they shed tears with us over this loss.
I brought my shihtzus there and was completely satisfied with the woman that groomed them. She went to Ponaganset High School awhile back. I tipped her well.
She's not there anymore and the woman that had done my dogs about 3 other times had a bad personality, she was impatient when I arrived a little late (15 min) due to traffic and her voice over the phone was annoyed. Another time I brought them there her personality was still the same not too sociable. So I'm all set with my dogs feeling that. Found another grooming place. Nothing against the business,,just that one woman unfortunately.
Jules is a true gem!! Welcomed my recently adopted Yorkie, DOLLIE with open arms
My 14 year old Yorkie, TIA, who had been a guest at Village Paws for many years passed last August. I decided to open my heart and home to adopt an 7 year old Yorkie. Although she’s only been with me for two weeks now Jules was on our priority to do list!!
Jules and her amazing staff treated us royally!! …and TIA (my sweet Angel) approves!!!
Thank you!!!!! TRICIA n DOLLIE.
Not only did they do a bad job of grooming my pet, he was also cut and no one told me!!! His face was trimmed crooked, one side is fluffy and the other side is shaved close. Between his legs is a huge chunk of hair that wasn't finished being shaved off and is just hanging there. Today when I picked him up to put him next to me I noticed he had three cuts on the inside of his arm. That is something that I would have watched to make sure he did not get infected because they're scabbed over. Things happen I understand that, however he has not been the same since this grooming appointment and I really have to wonder what happened since I wasn't informed by the groomer.! I also need to mention they seem to over book and even early in the morning there were already way too many dogs there and it seemed chaotic.
