Quick Facts About African American Hair Braiding

African American hair braiding place has several strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided.
Starting with the strengths, the salon is praised for having the best stylist in town. This indicates that the staff at the salon are highly skilled and talented in their craft. This is an important strength as it shows that customers can trust the stylists to provide high-quality braiding services. Additionally, the comment mentions that the salon offers value for money, indicating that the prices are reasonable and customers feel like they are getting their money's worth. The welcoming and friendly atmosphere is also mentioned, which is important for creating a positive customer experience. Customers appreciate feeling at home while getting their hair done. Another positive aspect mentioned is the opportunity to try a local delicious meal while getting one's hair braided. This unique offering adds to the overall experience and differentiates the salon from others in the area.
Furthermore, one comment mentions that the braids may initially feel tight, but after a week, they are fine. This implies that the salon focuses on providing long-lasting braids that do not easily unravel. This shows that the stylists are skilled in creating tight and secure braids, ensuring that they stay intact for an extended period of time.
However, the salon also has some weaknesses that should be addressed. One customer states that their experience was the worst ever, with their hair pulled too tight, causing discomfort and difficulty sleeping. This suggests that the stylist may need to be more mindful of the tension applied during the braiding process. It is important for the salon to strike a balance between creating tight braids that will last and avoiding excessive pulling that can cause pain and discomfort. Another complaint mentioned in this comment is being overcharged for services, particularly for kids' cornrows and crochet. This indicates a pricing issue that needs to be resolved, as customers expect fair and transparent pricing.
In addition, one negative comment mentions that the stylist did not create the desired style for one of the customer's daughters. This highlights a communication issue between the stylist and the customer, indicating the need for improved attention to customer preferences and clear communication.
Furthermore, a customer reports that the stylists spoke negatively about them in their own language, which is unprofessional. This indicates that the salon should ensure that all staff members maintain professionalism and respect towards their customers, regardless of whether they can understand what is being said.
Another weakness is mentioned in a comment about the salon being rough with the customer's hair and forcefully yanking it. This indicates that the stylists may need to work on their technique and gentleness while braiding to avoid causing damage or discomfort to the customer.
Lastly, a comment mentions that while the braids ended up looking pretty good, they were not perfect, with uneven lines in the box braids. This suggests that the salon should focus on improving their attention to detail and precision in their braiding technique to ensure consistent and flawless results.
In conclusion, African American hair braiding place has strengths in terms of having skilled and talented stylists, providing value for money, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and offering a unique dining experience. However, there are weaknesses such as excessive tightness, pricing issues, communication problems, unprofessional behavior, rough handling of hair, and lack of precision. By addressing these weaknesses, the salon can enhance the overall customer experience and further establish themselves as a reputable and reliable hair braiding establishment.

Best TL Reviews

Best stylist in town. Value for money and definitely make you feel welcome and at home. I got to try a local delicious meal whiles they braided my hair too! Definitely coming back
Personally, I love this place. Whenever I take my daughter here to get her hair done it always looks amazing and she gets so many compliments. A lot of people complain about it being tight and my daughter did too, but give it a week and you’ll be fine, if your braids are lose they’ll fall out so thank you guys for your services!
Worst experience ever! Don't go there if you want your hair pulled so tight. Came in with my kids, our hair was pulled so tight we couldn't sleep. Tried warm wash cloth, it didn't work. Was overcharged kids cornrows and my crotchet. They didn't do the style I chose for one of my daughters. The cornrows are neat, but the pain my kids and I underwent is too much to bear
The stylists make you feel like family. Very efficient, great braiding, great atmosphere. Will return and highly recommend
I had the worst experience in this hair salon. they overcharged me for large knotless braids and the lady braid so tight and my hair didn.t come out how it was suppose to. they was talking bad about me in their language, laughing the whole time. so unprofessional.
Had box braiding for myself and my daughter and Emily and her team were amazing as always.
African American hair braiding is now my home.
They are patient and nice people. And you get value for your money. Bad Reviews here are lies. Exceptional service
They are very rough with your hair. They yank it forcefully pulling out your hair.
They were nice people working there and the braids ended up looking pretty good but they weren't perfect. All the lines were not straight and even ( I got box braids). They work pretty quickly, and it wasn't too painful afterwards.
