Quick Facts About Brushed Nails
Brushed Nails has received both positive and negative feedback from customers. In order to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the salon, it is important to analyze each comment individually.
Starting with the positive comments, customers praised the salon for its excellent service and skilled technicians. Many customers specifically mentioned the personalization and patience of the staff, such as Alexa and Laura. This suggests that the salon excels in providing a friendly and comfortable environment for its customers. The positive feedback also highlighted the clean and beautiful salon location, indicating that Brushed Nails pays attention to the aesthetics and upkeep of their facilities.
Another strength mentioned by a recurring customer was the quality of work provided by Chey. This indicates that the salon has consistent standards for nail art and shaping, instilling confidence in their regular customers that they will always receive excellent results. It suggests that Chey is a reliable and skilled technician who consistently meets or exceeds customer expectations.
On the other hand, there were negative comments about the salon, particularly regarding the poor quality work and the customer service. One customer expressed dissatisfaction with the dip manicure, stating that it chipped within hours and that their nails were all different shapes and lengths. This suggests a lack of attention to detail and inconsistent execution in the salon's nail services.
Furthermore, the negative feedback highlighted issues with customer service and responsiveness. The customer stated that they had to wait multiple days for a refund and that the staff and owner were dismissive and rude when contacted to rectify the issues. This indicates a weakness in customer service and communication, as well as a failure to rectify mistakes promptly and satisfactorily.
Another customer mentioned a negative experience during their visit. They described a lack of professionalism, as their nail technician did not greet them or introduce themselves. The customer also mentioned that their manicure was poorly done, with nails breaking immediately and a lumpy texture to the gel polish. This suggests a lack of training or attention to detail among some of the technicians in the salon.
Additionally, a customer complained about the refusal to accept their gift cards. This raises concerns about the consistency in the salon's policies and the ability to adapt to changes in ownership. It suggests a lack of coordination and communication within the salon.
In summary, the strengths of Brushed Nails appear to be its friendly and personable technicians, the clean and beautiful salon environment, and the consistent quality work provided by some of the technicians. However, the weaknesses include issues with attention to detail, inconsistent customer service, and a lack of professionalism in some instances. These weaknesses can undermine the positive aspects of the salon and may require improvement to provide a better overall experience for customers.

I loved my experience at Brushed! Alexa did an amazing job on my acrylics; she was so personable and so patient with me the whole time! She also did my eyebrows; I’m really particular about them and she absolutely killed it! The salon was clean and everyone was so nice, I’m so happy to have found a salon I can’t wait to come back to!
I’ve been going to Brushed Nails for about a year now. I’ve been very happy with the quality work that Chey does. I picked her when I saw a few pictures of how well she shaped coffin nails. I’ve been having my nails done for many years and I have to say this is a great place to go to have quality work done and my nails have never looked better.
The new location is beautiful but a HUGE thank you to Laura for being phenomenal with my two year old daughter for her first manicure. My daughter chose a sparkly blue and it got everywhere but Laura was so patient and made my daughter so comfortable. Ellie is loving her nails and showing them off.
Everything about this salon I absolutely love. Every technician has special skills to offer you best best service possible. My technician, Rosa, gives 100% everytime.
This place is absolutely horrible. Went for a dip manicure, pedicure and eyebrow wax after reading some reviews online. Had to wait almost 40 minutes past my appointment time, which I looked past until I saw what poor quality work I received.
Dip manicure chipped within hours. My nails were all different shapes and lengths. Within 24 hours, 4 nails were destroyed.
Pedicure polish almost entirely chipped off within a week.
When I contacted them to rectify my dip, I had to reach out multiple times. Whoever answered the phone was dismissive and rude. They directed me to the owner who was also dismissive and rude. I received a refund for my dip, after basically having to demand it since they refused to accommodate me to fix my nails for several days. Don’t think it’s fair to make a paying costumer walk around with damaged nails for almost a week when they are damaged due to poor quality work.
Save your time and money and go elsewhere, they are so many better options for nail salons.
Edit to respond: I was not given multiple times to come have them fixed. I was given one time during work hours and one time 3 days away, neither of which are reasonable when the mistakes are not my fault. Your policy is irrelevant here, as the services were horrible and it’s unfair to expect a paying customer to either take off work to give your salon a second chance or walk around with poorly done nails for almost an entire work week.
I honestly hate leaving bad reviews, but I’m very disappointed in this salon. I’ve been on the hunt for a new nail salon after my nail tech of 5 years left my prior salon. When I got to the appointment, the receptionist told my nail tech, “your client is here.” The tech did not say hello or introduce herself, she turned around and did other things. While getting my pedicure, my tech proceeded to tell me that doing pedicures is her least favorite thing to do. I still decided to move forward and get a gel manicure. I was not asked how I wanted the shape of my nails to be, they were made square and I absolutely hate square nails. The manicure was poorly done. 3 of my nails immediately broke, If you run your finger along the gel polish it feels lumpy and there are obvious specs left inside of the gel polish. I thought that $80 was very reasonable for a gel mani and pedi, but I truly feel that I overpaid for what I received. I will not be going back.
My nail techs were great and I planned to schedule my next appointment. But when I was checking out they wouldnt accept my gift cards as the manager said they were under new ownership and they couldnt verify them. I didnt get my nails done over covid so I have had them for awhile but they dont have an expiration date and one is signed by the front desk staff that checked me out .
This was my first time trying this salon and I have to say Nelly is the best nail artist I’ve ever been too, she’s so sweet and makes sure you are happy with your service at all times. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and it’s almost identical!! Definitely will be going here from now on to see Nelly!!
