Quick Facts About Century Nails and Spa
Century Nails and Spa has received a mixed range of comments from customers, highlighting both strengths and weaknesses of the establishment. Below, we will examine these comments and analyze the strengths and weaknesses of Century Nails and Spa.
One strength of Century Nails and Spa is that the staff is described as very nice and pleasant. Multiple customers mention the friendly demeanor of the employees, which can contribute to a positive and welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, one customer specifically praises a technician named Van, stating that she is amazing at her job. This signifies that there are skilled and talented technicians at Century Nails and Spa.
Another strength is the wide range of options and colors available, as mentioned by a satisfied customer. This demonstrates that the salon provides a diverse selection for customers to choose from, allowing them to customize their treatments according to their preferences.
However, there are several weaknesses that have been expressed by customers as well. One commonly mentioned weakness is the issue of durability. Multiple customers mention that their nails broke or chipped within a short period of time after the treatment. This suggests that the quality of the work done at Century Nails and Spa may be subpar and does not meet the expectations of customers who have paid a significant amount for their services.
Furthermore, some customers have complained about unprofessional behavior from the technicians and staff. One customer recounts an incident where a technician, Cindy, refused to fix a botched job and argued with the customer. This lack of professionalism and poor customer service can create a negative experience for customers and deter them from returning.
Another weakness highlighted in the comments is the inconsistency in service quality. Customers have reported varying experiences depending on the technician they visit. While some technicians are praised for their excellent work, others are described as rushing through the service or not paying attention. This inconsistency raises concerns about the training and supervision of the staff at Century Nails and Spa.
Additionally, the pricing at Century Nails and Spa has been a point of concern for some customers. One customer mentions that a full set and a pedicure cost $65, which they consider to be too expensive. This high cost, coupled with the dissatisfaction regarding the durability and quality of the services, creates a negative perception of value for money among customers.
Lastly, the negative vibe and negative attitude from the staff, as mentioned by a customer, is a significant weakness. A welcoming and positive atmosphere is crucial for customers to feel comfortable and enjoy their visit to a salon. The presence of a sour environment can create an unpleasant experience for customers, ultimately leading to a loss of business.
In conclusion, Century Nails and Spa possesses some strengths, such as friendly staff and a wide range of options and colors. However, there are several weaknesses that need to be addressed, including issues with durability, inconsistency in service quality, unprofessional behavior, high pricing, and a negative atmosphere. By addressing these weaknesses, Century Nails and Spa can improve its overall customer satisfaction and reputation.

They’re very nice people but they charged me 50$ for a fill in I got gel which is supposed to last longer !!!! A week later two of my nails broke off just from putting shoes on and one broke off randomly and I didn’t realize till I looked at my hand !!! I will never be getting my nails done here again . For them to break so easily and they charge that price don’t sit right with me. If you look at my nails you can tell I barely have any regrowth because I JUST GOT THEM DONE ???? I am so upset because I spent so much for them to break so soon.
I found the best person here. She’s amazing van! But she is away for a while so my daughter and I have been seeing another person Cindy. She did a decent job on my nails but when I told my daughter to go to her before an important event cindy refused to take off her existing color powder and just put the new color on top. You could see dark green around the sides of her nails and underneath. It looked awful and people actually commented on her nails and why thy looked so bad. She went back in to have them fixed and Cindy argued with her and refused to fix them without charging another 50 bucks. All while all of the other employees were gathered laughing and whispering about her. So rude and unprofessional. We will not be going back. Just awful
I had a great experience the first time I came with Van. Since she is away, I went to a different technician and she was very clearly rushing. I asked to have my bright colored tip and dip that I had done myself, taken off and a new set put on. I could tell she was annoyed she couldn’t quickly get my nails off so she covered it up with a dark red color and left the existing tip and very obvious dip color underneath. You can see the existing color under my nails and on the sides which is very obvious but when I went back to try to get them fixed she would not fix them and said she would charge me even though I paid her in full for a job I could have done myself the first time. The whole experience was unprofessional and I will not be returning as well as my family members who also go to this nail salon.
The pedicure/massage part was nice that’s why they got 1 start but My toe nails were all uneven and I had to ask for him to cut my cuticles. I would have said something but the nail tech was no where to be found. Will never go back.
They’re very nice in there but I paid $50 for a full set and 3 days later they are already chipping and peeling. Pretty disappointed.
Went in before Christmas because my husband purchased me a $50 gift card to get my nails done here since it's close to home. A full set without gel and a pedicure came out to $65!!!! That's crazy. The day after, both middle nails broke off. I've never paid this much or had this happen before. We went out of state for the holidays and I couldn't come back in. They'd probably charge to fix it. I run my own business so I have very little time to get services like this done for myself. Definitely won't be wasting my money here ever again and have told others about this experience here.
I just moved back east and this was probably the best pedicure I’ve had in months. I came from Los Angeles so that’s saying a lot. And about half the price as LA.
I didn’t catch his name but I had a great service. I got the JELLY spa pedicure. It was magical and I’m left feeling moisturized and happy. ExActly what the doctor ordered after a long snowy week,
Please come here. This place was great with many options and colors to choose from and a great and pleasant staff.
Visited century nails for the first time today. Will not be back. The man who did my pedicure was not good. They use scissors to cut the nails down, cut my pinky nail so low cut my skin underneathe. Put the hot towel down at end, it was ya know...hot...then he leaned on me to grab something and was super hot on my skin. Not relaxing. Did not feel like he was paying attention or cared about what he was doing. Also, lady in front, possibly manager, was absolutely miserable. Very negative vibe from staff and environment. I would rather go someplace else, pay more even, to have a better experience.
