Had a great Hydrafacial with Maryann. She was very nice and explained each step along the way. Sometimes I find at spas the person points out things you didn’t even know were wrong with you & you leave with new things to be worried about but this wasn’t the case at all. I will definitely be back!
I had a massage in Red Bank. I specifically asked NOT to get Jodi for a massage. I had her once and she was not good. It was like she was just rubbing oil on me without working on the areas that needed attention. She worked on areas for a long period of time and neglected other areas completely. Unfortunately I went back for an 80 min massage and got her again after asking for someone else. Ugh waste of money.
Have you ever been asked prior to getting a French pedicure if you have nice feet ? Well go here if you’d like to be humiliated. Because apparently if you don’t have nice feet a French won’t work. Also while leaving if you want even more of a treat make sure you see Karen, she’ll make sure to tell you everything you’ve been told when you purchased your spa membership is false. Don’t recommend at all.
The prices they give over the phone are not true! Brought my 11 year old daughter to get a haircut and a “face frame” highlights. I called the day before and was quoted $110 (reasonable) for the COLOR and $45 (reasonable) short hair cut because she already has short hair. APPARENTLY THE COLOR DOES NOT INCLUDE ACTUAL COLOR(TONER) They bleached” her hair and the “glaze” or color(toner) is an additional $50! I get they strip the dark hair but color should of been included!!!!! So it was actually $160 for 3 highlights and a face frame! This is what gives salons a bad name and now this one does it. They did a great job on the highlights and the haircut and we tipped all 3 girls a total of $40. But you certainly NEVER get repeat customers with crazy add ons that were not quoted by phone and not until my daughter was sitting in the chair. NEVER AGAIN AND BEWARE OF THEIR ADD ONS AFTER YOU GET THERE. ITS DECEPTIVE AT BEST.
Very bad massage. First of all, I noticed that the clock in the room was fast by a few minutes which in turn meant a shorter massage for me. I told the therapist to focus on my neck and shoulders area and she did the opposite. Instead, leaving the last 5-10 minutes of the service for my problem area.
Also, I have never once had a massage where the therapist DIDN'T ask me at the start about pressure preference. And any good massage therapist asks the guest a few minutes in if the pressure is okay. Instead, it felt like the most gentle grazing on my back which has terrible knots that needed to be worked out.
I felt uncomfortable to speak up because I felt rushed and was under the impression I would receive attitude back.
I had the BEST facial experience today!! I booked a facial because I was losing hope on how to help my dry and sensitive skin. AnnMarie rescued me! She recommended the 30 minute hydra facial. After I detailed all my concerns and issues, she addressed everyone one of them and put me at ease. I had the absolute best experience I could possibly ask for. She made my skin feel so good—(especially with the light therapy) and explained every step so I knew what was going on. I never really write reviews but I have never had such a positive facial experience. I can’t wait to go back and book the hour hydra facial. I am also very trusting of this staff after they addressed my concerns and guided me to the right treatment.
I have been going to this spa for years (nails, facials, massages, hair, waxing etc) and since it is part of the Atlantic Club it is convenient. They always do a great job. I usually receive the manicure and pedicure packages as Christmas gifts and I really enjoy them. Their nail salon is superior to any other spa in the area.
Rachele was my masseuse and I am more than pleased with her service. She has healing hands. I found the atmosphere very peaceful and relaxing. It’s unfortunate that due to COVID the sauna was unavailable but their relaxation room prior to my treatment was great!
