Quick Facts About Naru
Naru Place is a Korean restaurant that receives mostly positive reviews from customers. Based on the comments above, several strengths and weaknesses can be identified.
One of the strengths of Naru Place is the quality of their food. Multiple customers praise the taste and authenticity of the Korean dishes served. The food is described as delicious, flavorful, and well-seasoned. Customers appreciate that the dishes are served hot and that they meet their expectations. The kimchi stew, cold noodle dish, tofu soup, beef spicy soup, spicy pork, and glass noodle are particularly recommended. The restaurant also receives compliments for its haemul pajeon (seafood pancake), which is described as crispy and delicious.
Another strength of Naru Place is the friendly and attentive service. Many customers mention the kindness and helpfulness of the staff, specifically the waitresses. One customer notes that a waitress noticed when their boyfriend choked on his soup and promptly gave him a napkin. Customers appreciate the little gestures and describe the service as fast and caring.
Authenticity is highlighted as a strength of Naru Place. Customers mention that the restaurant offers authentic Korean cuisine, cooked by a friendly "ahjuma" (meaning middle-aged woman in Korean). This aspect is particularly appreciated by customers who have visited Korea and want to experience the same flavors and tastes in London.
Value for money is another strength of Naru Place. Customers mention that the food is reasonably priced and offers great value. They feel that the portion sizes are adequate and that the prices are fair for the quality of the food served.
The weakness of Naru Place, as mentioned in one comment, is the lack of a lunch menu. This may discourage some people from visiting the restaurant, especially those who are looking for specific lunch options. However, this weakness is not a deterrent for the customers who enjoyed their meal at Naru Place.
In conclusion, Naru Place has several strengths that make it an appealing option for those looking for authentic Korean cuisine in London. The quality of the food, friendly service, authenticity, and value for money are all highlighted by customers. The lack of a lunch menu is mentioned as a potential weakness, but it does not seem to deter customers from enjoying their dining experience at Naru Place.

Really enjoyed our lunch here today. We were a bit last minute and hadn’t booked anywhere. Went to Bi Won across the road but they were full, so we crossed the road and came to Naru.
The restaurant wasn’t busy at all, but we knew they do good food as we’ve been before. There was no lunch menu so maybe why some people don’t come here. We went for a kimchi stew, a cold noodle dish and a rice cake dish to share.
The waitress was super friendly and sweet. When my boyfriend choked on his soup, the waitress noticed and gave him a napkin. It’s the little gestures that count sometimes.
Food was delicious. A bit spicy but they have a good balance of flavours. Some restaurants I’ve been to before just has a lot of spice and it’s hard to eat the food, but this was enjoyable spice.
Would recommend! For the service and the food!
All dishes we ordered are served hot. The taste is also good. I had the tofu soup which is not too spicy for me. The tofu is soft and not salty which is to my taste. So I am happy with my soup. The other dishes we ordered all meet expectation.
Authentic Korean restaurant, cooked by a friendly ahjuma. Beef spicy soup was spicy enough and well portioned with a good amount of meat. The spicy pork was so tender, juicy and had a good spice kick. The glass noodle was very well seasoned. Will definitely come back here again if we ever visited London.
IF YOU WANT TO TRY KOREAN FOOD, PLEASE VISIT THIS RESTAURANT. It taste as same as the restaurant in Korea. If you afraid of trying red and spicy one, try Haemul Pazeon, korean style pancake, which made of seafood and green onion. It’s so CRISPY and delicious. If I can visit London again, I will re-visit this restaurant definitely.
Wow ????
Visited this little gem yesterday on a quick stop at London. The service was fast and super friendly.
The food, without doubt the best meal I’ve experienced in a very long time, so tasty and authentic, the flavours were amazing and the food was so fresh. Every mouthful of the dinner was a delight and hit with another flavour.
Would absolutely without a doubt return!
