Quick Facts About Ohair Park
Ohair Park Place, located in Novato, California, offers several strengths and weaknesses that make it a unique and popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts.
One of the park's greatest strengths is its extensive trail network, as mentioned by multiple commenters. With "awesome trails" and "lovely meandering pathways," visitors have the opportunity to explore the park's natural beauty. The trails behind the dog park, in particular, offer breathtaking views and a chance to catch a stunning sunset.
Another major strength of Ohair Park Place is Novato Creek, which runs through the park. The creek provides a scenic backdrop for hikers and offers a refreshing place for dogs to cool off. Commenters mention how they enjoy taking their dogs for a dip in the creek and appreciate the water fountains and obstacle courses provided in the dog park area. Novato Creek adds an extra element of tranquility and beauty to the park.
The dog park itself is also highlighted as a strength of Ohair Park Place. Described as a "great off-leash, fenced dog park," it provides a safe and enjoyable space for dogs to socialize and exercise. There are plenty of platforms and bridges for dogs to showcase their skills, and water fountains to keep them hydrated. Many commenters mention taking their dogs through the trails and then finishing off with some playtime at the dog park.
The park's accessibility and family-friendly nature are also mentioned as strengths by commenters. The trails are described as easy and suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels. There are some really awesome trails behind the dog park. Hit them up if you ever have time! Amazing views an sunset!
Novato Creek runs through this beautiful park. There's also a dog park attached to it with obstacle courses and water fountains. I take my dog Sadie through the trails and a dip in the creek, then she loves to show off her skills on all the platforms and bridges in the dog area. By the time we get back to the car she's already dried off and ready to go.
Great off-leash, fenced dog park. ???? Farther afield, some nice gentle hiking along the creek, friendly people with their dogs or horses. Lots of poison oak to look out for along the trail edges.
This is an easy and beautiful hike through shaded bay laurels. Very slight elevation gain with nice wide paths with lots of people & dogs.
I grew up in these hills. Lots of trails and beautiful views. Best time is late afternoon, around sunset. Bring a jacket in case the fog rolls in. Watch out for cows sometimes.
Fun for the pets and kids. Keep a eye out for the wild life.
Simple trail, great for dog walkers, bicyclists and equestrian. It leads over to dogbone meadow and is a great place to let the pooch run around. There's also a few spots in the creek to let the peppers cool off in the summer.
