Quick Facts About Palms Barbershop

Palms Barbershop is a popular barbershop that has received both positive and negative reviews. In order to understand the strengths and weaknesses of the business, it is important to analyze the comments provided by customers.
One recurring complaint is the inconsistency in opening hours. In one comment, a customer arrived at the barbershop at 8 am on a Sunday, expecting it to be open as advertised. However, it was still closed, resulting in the customer going to a different barbershop. This shows a weakness in Palms Barbershop in terms of maintaining consistent opening hours and ensuring that customers can rely on the stated times of operation. This lack of reliability can lead to customers seeking alternative options.
Another negative aspect mentioned by a customer is the lack of parking space. The area directly in front of the shop was occupied by another business, and there was only sidewalk parking available. This inconvenience caused the customer to have to drive around the block multiple times and park far away, resulting in a long walk to the shop. This shows a weakness in Palms Barbershop's location and parking facilities. Customers value convenience, and a lack of parking space can deter potential customers from visiting the shop.
Furthermore, customers have expressed dissatisfaction with the customer service provided by the barbers. One customer mentioned that upon entering the shop, they were not greeted or acknowledged by any of the barbers. They had to ask another customer about the wait time and their position in line. This lack of acknowledgment and poor communication from the barbers is a weakness, as it can make customers feel unvalued and unimportant. Good customer service is crucial in maintaining a positive reputation and attracting repeat customers.
Moreover, a customer shared a negative experience with a specific barber at Palms Barbershop. The customer had scheduled an appointment and explicitly asked for a specific haircut, but the barber did not follow the instructions and provided a different result. This shows a weakness in the consistency and quality of the service provided by the barbers. Customers rely on the expertise and skills of the barbers to fulfill their desired hairstyle, and when expectations are not met, it can result in disappointment and a negative overall experience.
However, it is important to note that there are also positive comments about Palms Barbershop. Customers have praised the skill and attention to detail of specific barbers, such as Andres and David. This highlights a strength of the barbershop in terms of employing talented professionals who can provide excellent haircuts. Positive comments about the atmosphere and the chill vibe of the shop also indicate a strength in creating a welcoming and enjoyable environment for customers.
Additionally, some customers have mentioned reasonable prices for the haircuts provided. This is a strength as it shows that the barbershop offers good value for money, which can be appealing to customers who are conscious of their budget.
In conclusion, Palms Barbershop has both strengths and weaknesses. Some of its strengths include skilled barbers, a chill atmosphere, and reasonable prices. However, weaknesses can be identified in terms of inconsistent opening hours, limited parking space, lack of customer acknowledgment, and inconsistency in meeting customer expectations. Addressing these weaknesses can help improve the overall customer experience and reputation of the barbershop.

Best TL Reviews

Came at around 8am on Sunday because it says open at 7am on Sunday and it’s still closed. I didn’t call prior. Ended up I went to a barbershop few steps away across the road.
DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BARBERSHOP (read full review).
I came to this Palms Barbershop for the first time today, January 16 at about 2 pm. Prior to arriving, I called and asked an employee there whether walk-ins were allowed and if I could schedule an appointment. He said I could just come in and I don't need an appointment.
I arrive at 2, there's no where to park, only sidewalk parking, and the area to park infont of the shop is taken over by the restaurant next door with signs saying "no parking food pickup only." So I had to drive around the block a few times, park down the street and walk pretty far.
I enter the shop, no one greets me or hardly looks at me. There were three Hispanic barbers in there. I had to ask a Hispanic customer standing inside watching his son get a haircut how long the wait was and who was I after in line. He told me about 30 minutes. I waited at least 30 minutes sitting in a chair on the sidewalk infront where it was cold and very windy.
After the customer who I was supposed to be after left, I walked in and stood there waiting for one of the barbers to greet me and tell me where to sit. Instead one of them completely disregarded me and like looked through me and at someone outside who he spoke to and told "I'll be right with you."
That's when I told him that I was next in line and I had been waiting close to an hour. He then told me that the person who had just arrived and was being put infront of me had an appointment. I then began to explain to him that when I called I asked about making an appointment and was told it wasn't necessary. He cut me off while I was talking and said "I don't know who you talked to when you called but you're not next."
No other employee ever intervened at any time, apologized, tried to make things right nor anything of the sort. That's when I just said ok and departed because I was by that time justifiably ready to punish him.
I then went across the street to Kevin's Barbershop where I was warmly greeted, instantly seated, and received a good razor fade haircut.
Heed my advice and do not waste your time coming to Palms Barbershop. These rude, racist employees there don't deserve to have any customers nor anything else. And if any of them or their "homies" have a problem with this then COME GET ME.
Haircuts are good and the atmosphere are chill. A bit pricey for basic mens cut which is why I took 1 star off, but the workers are nice
Andres is the man and does a tremendous job. Serious attention to detail. Loved it!
The barbers here are professionals. While I accompanied my man, I was also watching other barbers while they work & they do clean, detailed cuts. The barber that my guy got was actually a woman (didn't get her name) but she did amazing job following to what he wanted. Her attention to detail was great. If you're in the area just looking for a fresh buzz, this is the place for a good price.
David is the best barber. It’s got a great atmosphere. B
I scheduled an appointment for Wednesday at 4:00, I waited 40 min until I was called which is fine I understand the barbers are busy. My issue is I asked for a mid fade, lineup, and 1 inch from the top, and the lady barber was for some reason so confused and she didn’t mention anything but towards the end it wasn’t a fade at all, she just did level 2 from the sides and back. I know this place is good but I find it disrespectful and absurd that a barber will completely ignore explicit directions, and she proceeded to charge me $35 for a fade yet I’m still confused on that because it clearly wasn’t a fade. The overall haircut wasn’t bad, but it def fell below expectations and ruined what I wanted my hair to look like for graduation.
Excellent attention to detail for a reasonable price, this is my go to barbershop.
