This includes ignoring customers, speaking amongst themselves in another language without addressing customers, and yelling at customers who raise concerns. 2. The services provided are rushed and not relaxing, leading to dissatisfaction among customers. 3. The quality of the manicures is subpar, with nails peeling off within a day or two, causing inconvenience and disappointment for customers. 4. Sanitation practices are not followed, as one customer observed the nail technician not sanitizing their hands before working on another client's nails. 5. The owner/wife of the salon is repeatedly mentioned as displaying rude and unprofessional behavior, which negatively affects the overall atmosphere and customer experience. 6. Hidden fees are charged for services that are not listed on the price sheet, leading to customers feeling deceived and taken advantage of. 7. The younger staff members are described as disrespectful and engaging in negative conversations about customers in another language. This creates an uncomfortable and unwelcoming environment.
Overall, the strengths of Rainbow Nails & Beauty Salon seem to be limited to the affordability of their services and the longevity of the nail sets. However, the numerous weaknesses mentioned in the comments greatly outweigh these strengths. The salon is consistently described as rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful towards customers. The poor quality of the services, lack of sanitation practices, hidden fees, and negative atmosphere create an overall negative experience for customers. It is clear from the comments that Rainbow Nails & Beauty Salon lacks in customer service, which is a crucial aspect of running a successful beauty salon. Improvements need to be made in order to address these weaknesses and provide a better experience for customers.

Incredibly rude… walked in, was greeted by no one even though I let out a chipper hello. inquired about a pedicure, was stared at while they spoke amongst themselves in what I assume is Korean. Asked again, still looking at me and speaking to each other and not addressing me. A third time? The worker closest to the door looks at me, whispers something to her client who’s manicure she’s working on, and does not addressed me. I turned right around. Yuck. Just rude.
I love this place my go to for a full set. If you want like ombre or any detailed designs I wouldn't suggest here but they do nails for a good price and they last long I can wait like 3 weeks before a fill In
My mani/pedi felt very rushed and not relaxed, and my manicure peeled off 4 of my nails the very next day.
While I was there, a customer was politely confronting the nail tech about something with her manicure and the staff began to yell at her. It was incredibly unprofessional. The argument went on for several minutes and the staff member ended up shouting “I’m with a customer” and walked away. Between the horrible customer service and awful manicure, I won’t be going back here.
This was my first time getting my nails done at this nail salon. I find the person that did my nails very curt. At first I thought it was a language barrier but quickly learnt that being RUDE was unfortunately apart of her personality. In addition, while doing my nails another patron came into the salon requesting gel nail manicure. She filed my nails and then asked me to wash my hands. She moved to the next chair and without sanitizing her hands proceeded to do the other client’s nails. I went back to the chair and waited approximately 5-10minutes on her to return to me. I sat there quietly and she did not acknowledge me. I thought the prudent thing to say at this point is “please give me a few minutes.” She returns to her chair at the work station where I was sitting clap her hands together to remove the nail dust (she was filing the other client’s nails), and proceeded to do my nails. I was thoroughly disgusted but did not say anything because I know it wouldn’t be taken kindly.
Pros: I love the end result of my nails!
Cons: RUDE & UNSANITARY
I have no intention of returning! The person that did my nail is the female that says, “may I help you,” when you first walk in. The first person on the right upon entering the salon!
I wish I could give 0 stars! Came here last week for a mani and pedi and the wife/owner was very rude and unprofessional. I don’t think I have ever felt so violated by a nail tech before. This lady was taking off my nail paint from before when when accidentally sliced my pinky finger, but the worst part was there was no apology or sorry given. I screamed of shock and pain and she simply looked at me and proceeded to firmly press my bleeding finger with a cotton ball with alcohol. I should have walked right out at that moment but I really needed my nails done and I hoped it wasn’t a deep cut. Fast forward a week later my finger is still in pain.. never again. Just rude and no value for customer service
This place doesn’t respect their customers. Nail technicians respond rudely when asked simple questions, customers are charged hidden fees for services that aren’t listed anywhere on the price sheet, and technicians do a rushed job on pedicures. I’ve been here several times and after my most recent visit - where I was told that “i could leave” for asking a question about polish removal - i will not be returning. If you want a relaxing experience where you are valued, listened to and treated decently go somewhere else cause that’s not happening here.
The owner/wife was very unprofessional and rude. That was the 2nd time i have encountered her displaying the same behavior. To top it off when i called to ask a question on a pedicure the price went up $10 more than what i paid the previous month. I asked over the phone if she could repeat herself as i didn't understand what she was saying and her response was come in if you have a question and she hung up. NEVER EVER would i spend a red cent at that establishment.
This is the worst nail salon I have gone too and I've been getting my nails done for 20years in Bloomfield. The younger staff are very rude and disrespectful. They talk negatively about the customers in another language, but I understand them clearly. They cut my toe so badly I had to rush to the emergency room as soon as I left. Do not go here! Go to nail salons on the North side of Bloomfield preferably. This one is unprofessional and won't do the best job on your nails. They are money hungry and not caring of loyal customers. I work very hard for my money and refuse to spend it when any business that is rude to customers. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau.
