Quick Facts About Sandy's Nails
Sandy's Nails place has a mix of positive and negative comments, highlighting both strengths and weaknesses of the salon. Let's explore these comments in more detail.
One recurring strength mentioned by multiple customers is the quality of the nails. Some customers have mentioned that they loved their nails and found them to be beautiful. One customer even claimed that Sandy's Nails place is the best in Bellevue. This indicates that the salon has skilled nail technicians who can produce aesthetically pleasing results.
Another strength mentioned by a customer is the welcoming and relaxed atmosphere of the salon. They enjoyed their first experience and felt comfortable throughout their visit. This suggests that the salon's staff create a friendly environment that helps customers feel at ease.
Positive interactions with specific employees are also noted as a strength. One customer mentions the "Old Lady" - a nail technician who is highly recommended for her conversation and workmanship. This indicates that the salon has talented individuals who provide great customer service and perform high-quality nail services.
However, the salon also has several weaknesses that have been mentioned by dissatisfied customers. One significant weakness is the lack of professionalism displayed by some employees. One customer stated that the nail technician was rude and made derogatory comments towards a child, causing discomfort. Another customer mentioned that the nail technician was rough with their hands, making the experience uncomfortable. These incidents indicate a lack of customer service and professionalism within the salon.
Another weakness noted by multiple customers is the poor quality of the nail services. Some customers experienced issues such as nails not being properly painted or acrylic nails breaking or falling off. Several customers also mentioned that their nail polish chipped or peeled off quickly after getting their nails done, even when paying extra for shellac. These instances highlight a lack of attention to detail and quality control in the salon's nail services.
Communication issues were also mentioned as a weakness of the salon. One customer expressed frustration at the nail technician's inability to take criticism and fix a faulty nail. This suggests that the salon's staff may not effectively communicate with customers or address their concerns. Additionally, some customers noted that the employees would speak in their native language, making them feel left out or ignored.
In conclusion, Sandy's Nails place has strengths such as skilled nail technicians, a welcoming atmosphere, and positive interactions with specific employees. However, the salon also has several weaknesses, including unprofessional behavior, poor quality in nail services, communication issues, and a lack of attention to detail. These weaknesses should be addressed by the salon to improve customer satisfaction and overall reputation.

I’ve been going here for a few years I really did like my nails when she got done. But today for some reason she could not take my criticism on one of my nails. She never talks to me during the event but she can talk to others or her husband in their language.but I had to ask her to fix it. She didn’t fix it. When she was done she told me to find another place and don’t come back just because I wanted my faulty nail to be fixed says I’m too picky. Right I paid for being picky. I’ll never go back to them and will never refer them to my friends or family again
Came to get my daughters nails (full set) done for the first time. Loved every moment in this shop. Everyone was welcoming and having a good time. This made for a very relaxing and fun first experience. Nails came out so beautiful! Best in Bellevue in my opinion. Very happy customer!
Just awful. My mom and I got a mani-pedi and it felt rushed. We were done in 30 mins. I noticed on a few of my nails the paint didnt all the way cover to the sides. By the end of the next day three of my nails paint was partially gone. On the second day most of my nails paint we're gone. It peeled off like little kid fake nail polish. My moms did as well. The photos are my nails immediately after I got them done. And I know what you're asking. Why didn't you have them fix them? But honestly I did that horrible the first time around I don't want to wait around to do it again
Nails look good. I'm giving 4 stars cuz the lady who did my nails was SO ROUGH with my hands. Was pretty uncomfortable while getting them done. But the ombre looks so good!
In a went for the first time at the beginning of the month and it was an absolutely wonderful experience . I went back today and it was the complete opposite. I'm so disappointed in my nails and the quality of work that I paid for. One of my nails broke as she was filing and instead of putting another acrylic nail on she just did the acrylic on my own nail and tried to tell me that all your nails are different so it would be ok. I told her I wanted a nail on my nail and it turned out horrible. I'm absolutely upset and will NOT be returning. I recommend only going once and going somewhere else the next time you need a fill.
Myself, our 11 year old and her best friend visited this salon for mani/pedi’s. The male (I believe owner), was very nice. The gal handling both girls was very rude the entire time and continued to call the one child “boring” for her choices. Not once, but a good 15 times, to the point of making her very uncomfortable. This was her first time ever having painted nails or toes. The paint was peeling off the following day, even with paying extra for shellac. Not long after, I developed a toenail fungus on two of my toes. Swollen, red and painful, with major discoloration of the nail. So bad my big toenail fell off completely in the end. I’ve been to many nail salons over the last 20 years, and this is the first to have ever come home with toenail fungus. Very disappointing. Unfortunately, the good reviews were misleading in this case. I don’t write reviews typically, but I wanted to save anyone else the pain or trouble!
"The Old Lady" - as she calls herself - is amazing. She works Thu-Sat but is worth making an appointment for.
Great conversation and great workmanship.
Literally just call and ask for the old lady.
Had a shellac done before vacation and it was chipping day one! Called and let them know…made an appt. And then was a bit late and they said no(but they take walk ins…)lol. Came back and they wanted to charge me 20 for nail color! Never going back!!!!
