I live 45 miles from Garden City. I chose this business for dip manicure and gel pedicure services closer to me than the one I have been using for several years. This was my first experience with this salon.
The first thing I noticed was the young man in shorts and a plaid shirt who was hanging around. Sitting next to my manicurist, he leaned in watching her work on my nails. Up and socializing with others, he leaned over her shoulder as she worked. No one explained his presence. Despite his unprofessional appearance, first I thought he might have been a new employee. Finally, it seemed as though he may have been a boyfriend just hanging around. It was very unprofessional and a bit creepy.
There were twelve manicure tables and twelve pedicure chairs but just three people working. There was clutter on the unused tables. None of the people working there wore smocks identifying them as employees. No one wore masks, not even for their own protection from breathing in the fine dust produced by motorized nail tools. Surely they must be aware of the risk to their health.
My manicure with powder dip and pedicure with gel polish first appeared nicely done. However, two weeks later the top coat on two nails cracked and a portion slipped off the nail. On another nail both the powder layer and top coat appeared too thin at the tip which allowed the polish to wear down to the nail. In eight years I have never had either of those things happen.
This recounting of my experience is not intended to be unkind. I do hope this salon presents a more professional appearance in the future as I may give them one more try.
Let me tell you this place is awesome very friendly excellent service my girl Tram flat out fantastic she will be doing my pedicures from here on. Guys don’t be shy your hoofs will love you for it. Thank you Tram see you soon!!!
I was in a bind & needed a mani & pedi on very short notice. Tiana did a manicure & pedicure for me. She did a wonderful job, facility is clean & friendly atmosphere. Would highly recommend!
Appointment was easy to make for a Dip manicure. But the girl that did my nails wouldn’t do art and then on day 3-2 of my nails the polish chipped and peeled. Day 5-2 more nails chipped. I can usually hold a polish for 4-6 weeks.
