This morning I went to get my nails done at luxe where I always go. I tried to make an appointment but they weren’t taking any same day which is fine. I get there and there is over an hour wait. I decided to go somewhere else and went to Shelby Nails (which has been under a new owner since the last time I went years ago) by Kroger. There was not a single customer in there. I had the BEST experience, they were so kind. And the best nails I’ve ever had done! I didn’t even have to explain what I wanted, it was like they could read my mind. If anyone is looking for a new nail salon, go check them out and give them some love! This will be my new regular spot.
Very Rude technicians. Specially a lady name Melissa She has an attitude I got to witness today how a lady was told the price wrong so she only had certain about in cash and she snatched the money out her hand so embarrassing I feel so bad for her .
I entered the shop today with my 5 yo daughter and was greeted with “ what you want?” And then told that “ they don’t do babies”. What? I had brought my daughter here twice before the most recent being last month. There was no one in the shop so it wasn’t that they were busy. Just rude people.
Great service, nice & super friendly. Prices are awesome and reasonable. They do have a sign that says $2 for credit card use, understandable because they are getting charged for each client that is using a card. so don’t forget to bring cash(: they are super funny and love to joke with us, so if you don’t know them personally you won’t understand. BEST NAILS i’ve ever had! Also, love coming to a clean salon!
I DO NOT recommend coming to this place. The prices are so overly priced. My mother and I wasted $180 for just a set of acrylic nails. My nails started popping off within 10 days when they should have lasted at least two weeks. We got treated badly by both the female and the male workers. Do not waste your time or your money here.
I have been going to this place for many many years. Especially after going to a place that put nails on crooked. I have them a second chance but then I went to Shelby Nails. I have never had a problem and my nails lady as long as they are supposed to or longer.
The reason they don’t like credit cards is the credit card company charges them each time a card is used so each payment they get they have to pay the credit card company. They are so nice they don’t want to have to charge you in order to run your card.
Pedicures have been just as great and they fixed a toenail for me before it became infected.

I walked in to everyone sitting in a massage chair watching tv and no one got up to greet me. I felt as if they looked at me like they wanted me to walk right back out. As I walked over for a pedicure and showed them what I wanted (holographic dip powder) they told me they didn’t have it- which I totally understood! I was trying to see if they had anything like it but the lady just kept telling me no and instead of trying to help me pick out a color like it they just said “so you don’t want it then” and immediately turned off the foot bath. I returned the nail polish back to the rack and left without them saying another word to me. I can’t even comment on the quality because all I received was poor customer service. Will not be back!
Extremely pleased with the service my daughter & I received. The staff is very friendly. We will definitely be back & refer our friends.
