2. Friendly and pleasant staff: Multiple comments mention the remarkable pleasantness of the staff at the coffee shop. This adds to the overall positive experience and makes customers feel welcome and valued.
3. Cleanliness: Customers appreciate the cleanliness of the cafe. A clean environment enhances the overall perception of the establishment, creating a more enjoyable and comfortable experience for customers.
4. Selection of beverages and food items: The comment states that the selection of beverages and food items is ample and of great quality. This indicates that customers have a variety of options to choose from and can expect high-quality products.
5. Social atmosphere: The coffee shop's name suggests a focus on socializing, and comments mention that locals and tourists alike appreciate the social aspect of the cafe. This implies that the atmosphere contributes to a sense of community and encourages interaction among customers.
6. Quality of coffee: Several comments remark on the incredible quality of the coffee served at the Social Cafe and Coffee Roastery. Customers mention real coffee/espresso, different flavors for every season, and high-quality roasts. This indicates that the coffee is a strong selling point for the establishment.
Weaknesses:
1. Inconsistent roasting: The comment about purchasing beans to use at home highlights a negative experience where the beans were over-roasted and did not meet the customer's expectations. This suggests that there may be inconsistencies in the roasting process, leading to a lack of control over the flavor profile of the coffee.
2. Limited filling of cups: One customer mentions that their latte cup was not filled up to their satisfaction. This indicates a potential issue with portion sizes or inconsistencies in how drinks are prepared.
3. Lack of decaf options: Another comment mentions that the cafe does not carry decaf options. While this may be a personal preference, it can be seen as a limitation for customers who prefer decaffeinated coffee.
4. Price: Multiple comments mention the high prices of the coffee compared to other popular chains like Starbucks or Dunkin'. Price can be a barrier for some customers, especially if they do not perceive the quality or value to be worth the higher cost.
5. Inaccurate labeling: A comment mentions that a Costa Rican blend labeled as a "medium" roast was actually very dark and oily. Inaccurate labeling of coffee roasts can lead to confusion and disappointment for customers who have specific preferences.
6. Inconsistency in drink quality: One comment mentions that their iced latte lacked flavor and the oat milk was not creamy. Inconsistency in the quality of drinks can negatively impact the overall experience and lead to dissatisfaction among customers.
In conclusion, the Social Cafe and Coffee Roastery has strengths in terms of its unique decor, friendly staff, cleanliness, selection of beverages and food items, social atmosphere, and quality of coffee. However, there are weaknesses in inconsistent roasting, limited filling of cups, lack of decaf options, high prices, inaccurate labeling of roasts, and inconsistency in drink quality. These weaknesses suggest areas where the cafe can improve to enhance the overall customer experience.

We went there to purchase beans to use at home. We specifically said we don’t want anything that approaches a dark roast. We went home with a pound of Brazil organic. Instead of nicely roasted beans, with a well defined flavor profile, we got an over-roasted mess that smelled and tasted like Kingsford charcoal briquettes. If you are a devotee of Starbucks it’s possible you may find pleasure in these cremated little nuggets.
I grabbed a flavored iced latte here but I felt like they could have filled up my latte cup more than they did, and they don’t carry decaf (which is totally fine) but depending on the time of day I get a latte I will do decaf. So that’s why it’s 4 stars and not 5.
This is a wonderful little, uniquely decored place. Every time I have gone in, the staff were remarkably pleasant which makes for a much better experience than simply being shoved a coffee through a window. The selection of beverages and food items is ample and really great quality. Everything seems to gleam with cleanliness. While the parking in front is limited, there is a lot in behind it too or off to the side. It's well worth frequent stop ins by locals and those just passing through would appreciate the social aspect of Social too.
Was in the area for a weekend trip and had to get my daily dose of real coffee/espresso. The woman that prepared our drinks (im sorry i forgot her name) was amazing! Her personality and her vibe was superb! Very cute and cozy little coffee shop with incredible coffee that they roast!
Almost $8 for an iced latte & it was not that great. Not enough flavor & the oat milk isn’t creamy. No thank you. Extra star for friendly customer service though.
Heads up if you’re looking for beans to brew on your own / are into medium or lighter roasts.
I bought the Costa Rican blend which, according to the label and barista, is a “medium” roast. It is, however, pitch dark and very oily, I don’t mind too much but it’s something to be aware of
First off two stars insread of one because the chai does actually taste good. But it's super weak and needs more powder. Also the image picture cost $7.44. very unaccommodating with any kind of extras. Used to love this place but it seems like every time I go in there it's more and more pretentious.
I’ve been here many times! Great quality coffee with different flavors for every season. They did mess up my matcha and pumpkin spice order in the past and their coffee is definitely more expensive that Starbucks or Dunkin down the street but worth it. They also have food options!
