Quick Facts About Sportsmans Barber Shop
Sportsmans Barber Shop has several strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided. Starting with the strengths:
1. Quality Haircuts: Many customers have expressed satisfaction with the haircuts they receive at Sportsmans Barber Shop. They mention that the barbers do a "nice job" and provide a "great cut." This is an important strength as it indicates that the barbers have skill and expertise in their craft.
2. Excellent Service for Pre-school Age Autistic Child: One customer highlights that the barbers were "wonderful" with her pre-school age autistic grandson. This demonstrates their ability to handle and accommodate diverse needs, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for all customers.
3. Quick Service: Multiple reviewers mention that Sportsmans Barber Shop is quick and efficient, with no long waits. This is an important strength for customers who are on tight schedules and prefer a timely service.
4. Reasonable Prices: The affordability of Sportsmans Barber Shop is noted by customers who mention the cost of a haircut as being around $20. This price is considered reasonable by many, although some customers express concern about the increasing prices over time.
5. Diversity of Services: Customers appreciate that Sportsmans Barber Shop offers a range of services, including men's and boys' haircuts, military cuts, and even catering to women who want men's hairstyles. This flexibility attracts a wider customer base and demonstrates the shop's versatility.

Moving on to the weaknesses of Sportsmans Barber Shop:
1. Inconsistent Quality: While most customers express satisfaction with their haircuts, there is one negative review indicating dissatisfaction with a particular barber. The customer mentions that the lady with white hair does a terrible job, ruins their hair, and even had a bad attitude. This inconsistency in quality is a significant weakness, as it may undermine the shop's reputation and customer loyalty.
2. Complaints about a Specific Barber: Aside from the lady with white hair, another customer mentions that when the "old man" barber cut their hair, it was uneven and ruined their efforts to grow it out. This complaint suggests that the shop may have some barbers who are not as skilled or attentive to customer preferences.
3. Late Opening: Although some customers dismiss it as a minor inconvenience, a reviewer notes that Sportsmans Barber Shop sometimes opens late. While this may not be a deal breaker for most customers, it shows a lack of punctuality and could be inconvenient for those with tight schedules.
In conclusion, Sportsmans Barber Shop has several strengths, including the quality of haircuts, accommodating service, quick service, reasonable prices, diversity of services, and experienced barbers. However, there are weaknesses such as inconsistent quality, complaints about specific barbers, and occasional late openings. It is essential for the shop to address these weaknesses to maintain and enhance its reputation.
Best TL Reviews
My regular barber shop. They always do a nice job. A cut costs about $20 right now. (Price keeps going up). But they are always pretty quick and I have always been happy with the end result.
My husband and sons have been happy here for years. They were absolutely WONDERFUL with my pre-school age autistic grandson. ????
I've been in here several times n never had a problem with the girls n the first time I get the old man he absolutely butchers my hair n ruins it. Cuts it all off after I spent time growing it out and can't even cut even. I ask for a beard trim and unlike the women I can't even get a straight edge, just trimmers
Great barbershop! Not a long wait and a lot of barbers on hand. I have not seen or had a bad haircut here. They do all men's and boys hair as well as military cuts. Prices are reasonable. Sometimes they are late opening but this is in no way a deal breaker. Just go get coffee first.
Just had my hair cut here during lunch. I switched from long hair to a men's cut about 6 months ago using a salon and they were good but I always had to make an appointment. So I thought that the best place to go for a fade as a walk-in would be a barbershop. I didn't even know if they'd do my hair because I'm a woman but they were fantastic. I love the way it looks and had no wait, and a great price. I will definitely be back. And for other ladies that want men's hairstyles and aren't sure if you're welcome give this place a try!
After trying some of the quick, in and out, hair cutteries around, I decided I needed to find an actual barber shop. Sportsmans was highly recommended by friends and family and rightly so. Every barber in there has clearly been cutting hair for a lifetime, they are friendly, and they remember you. I travel about half an hour every time I need a haircut just to come here.
Sportsmans Barber Shop "barbers" are professional, kind and do a great job cutting hair. They welcome you with a "Hello" and a great smile. Once its your turn, the barber ask you preferred hairstyle and off they go, cutting your hair to your liking.
Once a year, they hold a big holiday party at the barber shop right after Christmas. They take turn setting up, cooking hot egg roles, noodle dish, chicken adobo and sweet dessert, plus soda/water to drink. When its time to cut your hair, they greet you with a big smile and cuts your hair the same way they did a few weeks back.
AVOID LADY WITH WHITE HAIR!!
Do not go to the lady with white hair all the way back. She does a terrible job!! If it wasnt for her id be giving this place a five star rating but she is bad. Let me explain, I am always in a rush, running from one place to another, so when i squeeze time to cut my hair I alway let anyone available to cut my hair. All the others who have cut my hair had done an excellent job, but when SHE cut my hair it is always a terrible experience. One of the other guys next to me that was getting his hair cut even said I looked like I got a dyke haircut. The comments, the bad hair cut, all that I pushed aside because I am not one to try to complain and complicate things. I can put up with a bad haircut, since I am on a budget and I did, the previous three times she had cut my hair. But the last time she cut it, she had the audacity to get an attitude with me. That really rubs me the wrong way. When she was finished with cutting my hair she asked if it all looked fine and I asked her if she could go one size down to cut my hair shorter. She then proceeded to complain and get an attitude saying "You should have said that in the first place" and "your hair is not easy to cut, it will take twice as long" I was shocked. First of all, you suck at cutting hair and then you have the audacity to complain when I ask to cut a bit shorter because i didnt like what you did?? That's your job!??!? It literally took her 2 minutes to cut it shorter and when she was done she continued to complain. I said nothing. I paid her and walked away knowing I will never return there again. From now on I am going to a black barbershop. It will probably cost me more but least I will get a great cut and I don't have to deal with her.
