This has got to be the BEST Nail Salon that I've been to. The ENTIRE STAFF does their best to satisfy and accommodate their patrons. From my experiences, i have noticed that the owner and staff all pretty much remember each and every client. Ive been going to Sun Nails since 2009 when my fiance who once lived upstairs from their and recommended for me to go there. And I've Never been anywhere else since(unless I'm out of town). And i recommend them to any and everyone i can.
First I get forced into doing a gel manicure that ended up costing me $75 when all I wanted was a $20 manicure for the weekend. Then when I had to go have the gel soaked off, they charged me $27 for a soak off. I was in there for 10 minutes and that is more than they charge for manicure! I will never go back and make sure no one I know goes there! ????♀️????♀️????♀️
I came in to get acrylic nails no design just one color. It came out to $105 without tip. I paid $60 at the last place I went to in west haven for the exact same thing. Multiple people I know have gone here and we’ve came to the conclusion they overcharge what is on their prices and don’t tell you how much more the gel or add ons are but just put it on. I wish I read the recent reviews because I guess they are doing this to everyone aswell.
Where do I begin? Carmen who did my nails had no idea what she was doing and I see the service for different ethnicity is way different and is very clear and blatant.. they're charging it for service that is poorly done which is so unfair and costly. Never go back to this place

The pedicure was amazing the lady did a great job was there last week for a spa pedicure which was $55 plus $10 for extra service I got gel polish which she said would be $90 bout time I finish my ticket was $180 I didn't get nothing special price was very high spending $200 $10 for both of the ladies for a tip I will go for a pedicure but nothing else...
The most unprofessional rudest salon I have ever been to. They overcharge for gel polish and then have the nerve to expect a tip when they do the bare minimum. The people they have working there are not properly trained and spend their time gossiping. 20 dollars extra for a regular pedicure with gel polish that is already 40 dollars with no extra perks. I hope more people complain and they get shut down since I’m seeing a lot of reviews about over charging without any explanation and also people getting foot fungus and chemical burns because they don’t know how to take off acrylic nails. You know a place is bad when they can’t even shape nails properly.
The owner is very nasty. She rushes you and wants you to give cash. Why accept cards if you only want cash. There always talking in there language. Very rude and un professional.
