Quick Facts About U V Nails
UV Nails place has both strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided. Let's break them down:
Strengths:
1. Good service in the past: One commenter mentioned that they have been going to UV Nails for years and have previously received satisfactory service. This suggests that the salon has been able to maintain a level of quality in the past and has a loyal customer base.
2. Quick fix of cracked nail: Another comment mentioned that the salon fixed a cracked nail in less than 15 minutes. This demonstrates that UV Nails has the ability to provide efficient and effective service when needed.
3. Friendly staff: Multiple comments mentioned that the staff at UV Nails are friendly. This indicates that the salon creates a welcoming and comfortable environment for customers.
Weaknesses:
1. Inconsistent service: Two commenters expressed dissatisfaction with the decline in service quality over time. This suggests that UV Nails may not be providing consistent service to all customers, possibly implying a lack of attention to detail or inconsistency in training standards.
2. Poor customer treatment: Several comments mentioned instances of rude behavior from the staff at UV Nails. They described feeling embarrassed, uncomfortable, and unheard during their visits. This indicates a significant weakness in customer service and a lack of professionalism.
3. Failure to meet customer expectations: One commenter mentioned not receiving all the services they had requested and paid for, such as a massage during the pedicure and a proper manicure. Additionally, another customer mentioned receiving a shellac pedicure that turned out to be a different color than expected. These instances reflect a lack of attention to customer preferences and a failure to deliver the desired results.
4. High prices: One commenter mentioned that the prices at UV Nails are quite high, particularly for basic services. This may deter some customers who are seeking more affordable options or who find the prices unreasonable compared to the quality of service provided.
5. Inconsistent pricing and hidden fees: Another commenter mentioned that the owner adds her tip to the final price without prior notice. This can be seen as deceptive and may lead to customer dissatisfaction if they feel they were not adequately informed about the total cost of their service.
Overall, UV Nails has had strengths such as previously providing good service, quick fixes for nail issues, and friendly staff. However, they also have a number of weaknesses including inconsistent service, poor customer treatment, failure to meet expectations, high prices, and inconsistent pricing practices. These weaknesses need to be addressed and improved upon in order to provide a more satisfactory experience for customers.

Unhappy with the type of service I recieved the other day. So I called b4 I went knowing they closed in just over an hr. Told them I wanted a pedicure and full set and was asked how long b4 I could be there, told them less then 5 mins. They ok come in. Once I got their they asked again what I was looking for. I told them the pedicure that includes the massage and a manicure with full set. They suggest the gel on my toes to make my the flower last longer which was fine. They did the pedicure, with salt scrub and warm towels did my nails and that's it. No massage or anything which I was expecting. The person kept pushing my legs together when I was trying to see how my toes were looking. Then after we were done same person does my nails. Again asked what I wanted they suggested the dip w/tips. More healthy for the nail. Again I was fine with that. Mind u during this time they were chatting back and forth my their langauge so of course who knows what they were saying and it could be complaining about me. He started out by grabbing the demel and sanding my nails and put on the tips. This who time pushing and pulling at my hands and armsept pulling any hands and arms puttingthe right position for them. I puy them in the spot they put me in b4 and they would still adjust them seeming frustrated. Then we were done. Well that was not a manicure to me. No soak no nothing. It was a 1/2 hr after they closed already so I was like ok. I paid $150 for services I didnt even get all of what I wanted. My nails look good but as you can see in the one picture my cuticles were not even cleaned up. I've been there b4 the service was ok. But for some that from what I went through this time I won't go again.
Have been going here for years but recently have noticed a decline in service. The pedicures have always been basic but nice. Owner and staff used to be pleasant but the last few times I’ve visited they have not been. Today I went for a pedicure and picked out a white polish and additionally, what I thought was a glitter top coat. She asked me which one I wanted and I said both. She told me no, these won’t work together. I said ok, well I’m looking for a white polish with subtle glitter on top (not too outlandish a request, I don’t think.) She became very frustrated with me and told me it wouldn’t work. She was loud and I was a little embarrassed. She never offered to help me find what I was looking for. She ended up painting my toes a faint white color and when I asked if she could put a glittery third coat on she said “I will but if you don’t like it don’t come complaining to me because I’m not going to fix it.” Ok? I was being polite and friendly, there’s no reason she couldn’t have been even slightly accommodating. At the end when my toes were drying, I paid the owner and when she came to give me my credit card she asked me where the tip was. Flat out. I always always always tip, but in this case I couldn’t see how one was warranted. I didn’t receive what I asked for and was treated poorly. I already paid 40 dollars for a polish and heel scrub and rude comments. Will not be back, which I’m sad to say because this used to be a nice place.
Don't waste your money.
She was rude, loud, and made me feel like what I wanted was ridiculous. She did a horrible job and made me feel embarrassed. She was overly frustrated with everything I said and acted like she couldn't do anything i wanted. I couldn't wait to leave. These nails look like they are 2 weeks grown out and the paint doesn't even reach the edges all the way around EACH finger. I wouldn't even give them 1 star. I'm never coming back. My 2 year old could have done a better job.
I had a pedicure and a dip set done on my natural nails. The service was great and exactly what I wanted. Today I fell and cracked one of my nails and I stopped in to have it fixed. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. They were really great about it and got it fixed! I will definitely go back!
Do not waste your money! Tried this place for a pedicure with a friend of mine. The workers were friendly but that’s the best they have going for them. I’ve never paid $70 for the most basic pedicure and will never do again. Woman at the counter asked if we wanted the “extra” pedicure. I get shellac on my nails, so we said yes. I’m still trying to figure out what the extra was because it was basically a polish change with a heel scraping. No paraffin, no massage, nothing but what a cheap pedicure consists of. Not to mention, the chairs and equipment are old and didn’t work. Would have been somewhere we consider if “in a pinch” but after being charged $70 for a shellac change, NEVER AGAIN!
Terrible experience. I came in for a pedicure and the lady who sat down to do my nails was obviously in a terrible mood. She was wearing a grinch sweatshirt, how ironic. My foot twitched / had a reflex and she literally got up, packed up, and walked away. It was so awkward and I felt so uncomfortable. Everyone started to look around, wondering what happened. I wanted to leave so I started to get up from the chair. The lady who approached me after was very nice and begged me to stay. I ended up staying to not cause any more of a scene. I will never be back!!! Do not go here if this is potentially the treatment you could get!!
First time doing business here and I will never go back! I had a purple shellac pedicure which the color came out blue on the first coat and I told her I did not like it. She said oh it will be purple on the second coat. It wasn’t… I told her I didn’t like it she said I still have to pay for it She said I should’ve told her on the first coat , Which I did! I will never go back here the lady was very rude and scarcastic!
A basic pedicure has gone up in price so much, by basic I mean no heel scraping, massage, etc, you are paying $55-$70 that is absolutely insane. A simple polish change on toe nails just taking off and painting was $20. The owner adds her tip on to the price so keep that in mind when the price you are given doesn't match the posted price.
