Nice shopping area that we use often. As of now- we use the Harris Teeter grocery store, my husband & son have used Great Clips for their hair & shaving needs for MANY years. There is a couple of places to eat, a nail salon & i love having a UPS store so close by.
The only negative experience ive ever had there was when i parked at the one bank that sits right in front of West Town on 160. I had just dropped my son off at school & had gotten a super hot coffee from Starbucks in Baxter. I had with me a pile of mail i grabbed from our mail box & thought I'd pull into West Town & go through the mail, let my coffee cool off while waiting for the back to open as we were thinking about chaning banks. Im in my 50's sitting in a Mercedes or a BMW (cant remember which car i was driving that day) & since the windows were not tinted- it was clear i was the only person in the vehical. Ive lived in the area over 20 years. Next thing i know a woman who worked at the bank asked what i was doing there. Odd, but it is a bank so i get it... although i certainly didnt think i fit the profile of a bank robber lol. Plus i was park right out front with my license plate facing the bank. I tell the woman politely that im just going thru my mail while i wait for them to open. Oh & that i was listening to The Bob & Sherry radio show. It was clear by her attitude she didnt like me parked out there for whatever reason so i decided this is not the type of bank i want to do business with & i decide to leave. I start my car & all of a sudden i notice several police cars are all around me!!! There were no NO PARKING signs, so i knew i hadnt dont a thing wrong - so i pulled out and headed home to Tega Cay. The police followed me all the way home!!! They came up to my car, did not even ask for my drivers license or paperwork on the car (which i forgot to mentioned my car was wrapped with photos of my child who had been killed by DUI Homicide- pretty obvious its my car as most people know me for speaking out on the news about no charges being filed & that L.E. in SC do NOT carry a breathalyzer!)
I asked the officer if i had done anything wrong & he said no but the said they got a call from the bank (duh) & the manager there thought i seemed "suspicious" ... sitting in my anti DUI car sorting the mail, drinking coffee & listening to the Bob & Sherry radio show waiting for the bank to open...which was about 15 to 20 minutes total. Needless to say we didnt switch to BB&T Bank and NEVER will. It goes down as one of the top 3 weird things thats happened to me since living here. Sorry this was so long...i didnt get to tell anyone publicly about this as i was dealing with the loss of my only child. However it feels really good to release this horrible treatment here & now. I am including a photo of both my cars since im not sure which car i was in. Thx for reading even if it gets deleted.. i will know at least one person read it. xo Pam, still Kelli's mom at Enact Kelli's Law on FB.
The joint chiropractic is amazing at this locations. I pass one to get to this one. Highly recommend!
Harris Teeter employees all do a great job. The all try their hardest to make all aspects of shopping smooth.
Another Wal-Mart store along with some mediocre and terrible" restaurants". Rock hill is littered with awful places to eat. Not a single Jewish deli within 500 miles from here. Also no Irish pubs or German beer gardens. .Oi! Denizens of York county, the clown (McDonald's) the "King" &the colonel (KFC) will only chase you into the hospital with diabetes and heart disease.
