I just needed 2 nails fixed and a light fill in. I’ve never been to this place but I needed my nails done asap because I was going to an event later that night and my normal girl didn’t have availability when I needed. So I just walked in and asked for THE MOST SIMPLE REQUEST. My first mistake was going somewhere I’ve never heard of; second was staying when she couldn’t get the acrylic to stay and got it all over my finger which I had to later get off myself. After all that my nails look and feel horrible. To top it off my nails are starting to fall off and the polish is LITERALLY failing off with wet polish coming out. I never experienced this bad of a job done. When I called I told them my problems and said it could be fixed but when I said I’d like a full to partial refund because it hasn’t been 24hrs the lady said she didn’t speak English and couldn’t help with that. Ironic right! It’s been less than 24 hrs as I got my nails done yesterday 1/30/22 around 2pm.
Great atmosphere, excellent service and the only place I get my nails and eyebrows done at.
The nail technician didn't seem to understand my request for an American manicure even with pictures shown which made the visit frustrating, especially since I was preparing to be in a wedding. I settled for what she seemed to understand but it was nothing like the picture. The pedicure was sub par at best, I left with dead skin still on the bottom of my feet. It was not worth the price. I do better at home.
I prefer to patronize black owned salons like Koco Nails on Ridge ave but I come to this place for last minute jobs since it’s two blocks from my house. I’m always disappointed with my nails when I come. I found one tech I liked named Kim but she moved to E’Tae so now I only get my brows waxed here. I only let Annie or Mimi do them. Both do an excellent job. Someone at a different shop had made my eyebrows uneven months ago and they nourished them back to normal very nicely.
I always have a good experience and I think they are very pleasant great job on whatever service I get.
Nice spacious friendly & warm atmosphere they always make you feel welcomed and are very accommodating. Tony is one of the best on the pedicure???????? manicure???????? Mimi & Annie always slaaaay the brows & lashes! Love the Brazilian waxes as well???????? Highly recommend Must visit u won't be disappointed thank me later.
Every time I go to Annie’s I get great service. All the techs are so kind. I especially love Maggie. She did my nails exactly how I wanted them; she’s also very knowledgeable about nail care.
I've been going to Annie's for years and especially like the cleanliness and care they exercise. As some of the comments here suggest, every stylist doesn't have the same level of expertise, so you'll need to find someone who works for you. I use this nailery for regular mani/pedi and lashes. The prices are good, $30 for lashes, $35 for mani/pedi.
