Quick Facts About Lily Nails
Lily Nails has received a mix of positive and negative comments from customers. In order to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the place, we will examine each comment and identify the key points.
Starting with the positive comments, it is evident that Lily Nails has several strengths. One customer mentions that the staff is always friendly, which indicates good customer service. This is further supported by another comment stating that the staff goes above and beyond with customer service and is patient. Friendly and patient staff are important strengths for a nail salon as they contribute to a positive and comfortable experience for customers.
The cleanliness of Lily Nails is also highlighted as a strength. Multiple comments mention that everything is super clean and the salon is clean. Cleanliness is a crucial factor in a nail salon as customers expect a sanitary environment for their treatments. By maintaining a clean space, Lily Nails is able to create a positive impression and attract more customers.
The gel nails offered by Lily Nails are praised for their durability. One customer mentions that the gel nails rarely chip or break, even for a working single mom who engages in activities that may damage them. This indicates that the quality of the gel nails is a strength of the salon. Customers value long-lasting and durable nail treatments, so this can be a selling point for Lily Nails.
The affordability of the services is mentioned as a strength in one comment. The customer states that Lily Nails offers competitive prices for great service. Affordable pricing can attract a wider range of customers and contribute to customer satisfaction.
Moving on to the negative comments, there are a few weaknesses that can be addressed by Lily Nails. One customer had a negative experience with the customer service. The employee at the cash register was perceived as rude and demanding regarding the tip amount. This indicates a lack of professionalism and poor customer service skills. Ensuring that all employees are trained in customer service and maintaining professionalism at all times can help address this weakness.
Another negative comment mentions that a customer's daughter did not have a good experience during her manicure/pedicure. The service was rushed, resulting in messy nail polish and poorly done nail art. This indicates a lack of attention to detail and insufficient time spent on the service. Addressing this weakness by ensuring that all technicians take their time with each customer and pay attention to detail can improve the overall experience.
One customer had a particularly negative experience where the technician did not understand the customer's requests, resulting in a poorly executed service. Additionally, the owner did not handle the situation well, charging the customer for a service that was not up to standard. This demonstrates a lack of communication and understanding between the staff and customers, as well as a lack of accountability from the owner. Addressing this weakness by improving communication and ensuring that the staff understands customer requests and concerns can help prevent such incidents in the future.
Lastly, a negative comment mentions an uncomfortable and unwelcome experience due to the behavior of an employee. The employee raised their voice, threw things, and appeared to have tension. This demonstrates a lack of professionalism and poor customer service. Training employees in proper customer service and ensuring a positive and welcoming environment can help prevent such incidents.
In conclusion, Lily Nails has several strengths including friendly and patient staff, cleanliness, durable gel nails, and competitive pricing. However, there are weaknesses that need to be addressed such as poor customer service, lack of attention to detail, communication issues, and unprofessional behavior from staff. By addressing these weaknesses, Lily Nails can improve the overall customer experience and maintain its positive reputation.

I love Lilly nails. The staff are always friendly.everything is super clean. Every service I’ve gotten has been fantastic. Also the new child pedicure chairs are adorable. My 4year old granddaughter loves them ❤️
Lily nails has been my number 1 for the past 3 years. I think they go above and beyond with customer service. The staff Is very patient and that's hard these days!! I have seen so many happy customers coming through for years. The gel nails very rarely chip or break .I've had maybe 4 chips in 3 years and I'm a working single mom who has minimal help, so I'm pretty rough with my hands gardening, moving work furniture etc .I think everyone should have their own experience instead of just going off reviews. You never know to what level of satisfaction each individual has. Sometimes these reviews seem like business bullying. But that's my opinion and I know most will have as great of an experience as I have.
Thank you kindly Lily's nails ???? ????????????????
Friendly staff, competitive prices for great service. This is my go to spot. Excellent pricing for pedicures.
Brought my daughter in this afternoon for her birthday full set, I usually go here for my pedicures. My daughter sat down the guy put the tips on then got io to cash out a nail tech her tips didn't say excuse me for a few minutes nothing, 10 minutes later he returns. Ok coolnqhen it was time to pay the girl tella me the pricerucee and what I'm going to tip.ngirdt off you don't tell me what I have to top sje said its 15 percent I said not its what i feel like giving. Then she slams my card down. I will NEVER GO BACK. .YOU DONT TELL ME WHAT IM TIPPONG THIS MY MONEY !!!
I honestly had a great experience here for the first time. I’ve been to multiple nail salons in Norwich and Bonnie who did my full set fill did the best job compared to anywhere else I went. She was quick, thorough, and my nails came out PERFECT. They took me in right away. The salon is clean. Their equipment is sterilized. They use tub liners. I was very impressed. Thank you Bonnie for the best fill I’ve received in Norwich!!!!
My daughter came in for her first mani/pedi for our vacation. The kids chairs were the draw. But that's all they have going for them. The lady rushed through. My daughter didn't get the full experience. The nail polish is all over her skin and the Mickeys the lady put on look junky. I could have done a much better job at home.
We will not be coming back here. glad I already had mine done at Nailed It! around the corner!
Don't waste your time or money here!
Never have I experienced a service this bad. I walked in and asked for a NEW dip set. At first you see if I have tips on or not. Then you soak it. She for thirty five minutes was filing down the old set and made me bleed I kid you not six times. After I noticed the timing I asked her if she was taking them all off (you clearly at this point can tell I have tips on) and she did not understand what I said. I then said "you can just clip all of the tips off so it's easier." The owner came over and asked what I said so I repeated myself. The owner said "Ohkay no problem." The girl doing my nails then clipped the tips off and proceeded to put new tips on. THE OLD NAILS WEREN'T EVEN OFF! I was done so I said just take the old set off I don't want to get my nails done. As I'm walking out I stopped at the counter and the owner said and I quote "sorry but it's going to be five dollars." They do not know what they are doing. I've been to several nail salons in the area and it has never been this bad. The girl doing my nails doesn't understand anything at all and the owner does not care about customers at all!!
If I could leave this review without stars I totally would. I have been here several times and have NEVER felt more uncomfortable and un-welcome as I did today. I called around 1030 and requested a dip manicure and pedicure at 1130 and was told ok. When I arrive at 1130, I was asked to pick a color and which desk to sit down at for my manicure, I mentioned that I was also getting a pedicure and received a blank stare. Would have totally been ok if they said they didn't have time or accommodate. So I proceeded to the pedicure chair I was told to and waited 10 minutes before anyone even asked me anything. Totally would have been ok however, the one employee proceeded to raise her voice and throw things around. You could completely tell that my pedicure was an issue for her. Two other customers walked in at this point and said they had pedicure appointments and she left my chair and went to them. Already feeling completely uncomfortable with the situation this made it totally worse. I finished my pedicure with the gentlemen who agreed to do it and had them remove my existing dip and left it at that.
Losing me as a customer wont hurt your business but please do better! We may not know what is being said but body language, tossing things and obvious tension are not good customer service!
