I wish I lived closer. I was in town and needed a quick clean up. Mark was not only able to accommodate a last minute request, but he also gave one of the best haircuts I've had. Would recommend his business to anyone.

I’ve been going to Mark regularly since I moved to Pittsburgh 3 years ago. Mark is an outstanding professional! Always very responsive to my texts and respectful for his clients time. Unlike some other barbers, Mark has never made me wait for a scheduled appointment, and I highly appreciate it. The Barber Shop itself is very nice and clean. Mark loves music, and at his shop you will always enjoy good tunes coming out of a solid sound system. This gentleman is very easy to connect with and I’m sure you will all have a good experience with him! The haircut styling is great. You could either show Mark an inspiration picture, describe what you want, or let him take the lead in taking care of you. Either way, I’m sure you’d be happy with the outcome. In summary, Mark is the most professional barber I’ve ever had and I’d highly recommend you try him out if you live or work in the area.

He was able to give me a top-notch haircut, while also teaching me something new about my own hair that I was unaware of before. He took extreme care in his craft and made sure that I was comfortable with what I was getting the whole time.

We were able to have a great conversation throughout as well, all in all a great experience and won't get my haircut anywhere else when I am in Pittsburgh.

Hands down the best barber around!

I’ve been going to Mark for a master cut for close to 15 years. I currently live in Chicago but always make sure I go see Mark 8-10 times a year when I’m in the Burgh (sometimes to correct the work of other barbers). He pays close attention to detail and takes the time necessary to ensure you are satisfied with the results. He takes great pride in his work and values his clients appearance. We always joke that his clients are walking talking billboards for his business.

Best barber in the Burgh. I've never walked out of his shop with anything less than a perfect hair cut. His attention to detail, perfection and professionalism is second to none. Here you will get a great hair cut, a shampoo and another once over to make sure you're looking great. You won't leave without the best hair cut, and a smile. I am very picky when it comes to my hair, I went to Mark once 10 years ago, and have went back every 3 weeks since. He also has been cutting my kids' hair since their first cuts. Somehow he's been able to keep my boys still and content long enough to cut they're hair too! I wouldn't take them anywhere else either.

Mark's been cutting my hair for over 10 years. Living in Chicago for the past 4, I still visit Mark every time I'm back in Pittsburgh because I haven't found anyone in Chicago who can give me the cut I like with consistency. He knows what he's doing.

I've been meaning to head down into the basement of Gateway Center and try Mark's out. I've been reluctant as I didn't want to get a cut before work and have itchy little hairs everywhere. Mark's experienced though, he takes all the steps to make sure your hair is styled and neck/shirt are clean before leaving.

Great music, personable barber, great hair cut I'll definitely be going back.
