Quick Facts About Reynolds Barber Shop

Reynolds Barber Shop has several strengths that contribute to its positive reputation and loyal customer base. Firstly, it has a long-standing tradition and history, with customers mentioning that they have been bringing their children to the shop for over 20 years. This demonstrates the trust and loyalty that customers have towards Reynolds Barber Shop. Secondly, the barbers, particularly Ben and CL, are praised for their skills and expertise in providing excellent haircuts. Customers mention that they have received some of the best haircuts they have ever had at this shop. This skill and attention to detail contribute to the positive experience customers have at Reynolds Barber Shop.
Another strength of Reynolds Barber Shop is the welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Customers mention feeling at home and comfortable during their visits. The barbers make an effort to engage in conversations with customers, creating a sense of community. This adds to the overall experience and makes customers feel valued and appreciated.
The shop's location is also mentioned as a positive aspect by customers. It is described as a "hole in the wall" place, which gives it a unique and charming appeal. The shop's traditional and down-home style is a draw for many customers, who appreciate the nostalgic feel and the absence of excessive modern amenities. The shop's interior decor, including mounted deer heads and various cool items on the walls, adds to its character and charm.
Affordability is another strength of Reynolds Barber Shop. Customers mention that the prices are reasonable and affordable, which is particularly appealing to families bringing in their children for haircuts. This affordability, combined with the quality of the haircuts, makes Reynolds Barber Shop an attractive choice for customers seeking value for their money.
Despite these strengths, there are some potential weaknesses that should be addressed. One common comment from customers is that the shop can be busy and have limited seating. This can lead to a longer wait time, which may inconvenience some customers, especially those with time constraints. While the wait time is considered a part of the experience by some, it may deter others who prefer a quicker and more efficient service.
Additionally, while the traditional style and decor of the shop are appreciated by many, it may not appeal to those who prefer a more modern and upscale barber shop experience. The shop's focus on simplicity and nostalgia may not resonate with all customers, particularly younger individuals who may be seeking a more contemporary aesthetic.
Another potential weakness mentioned is the limited availability of barbers. Some customers mention that there was only one barber on duty during their visit. While this may not be a major issue for some customers, it could become a problem during busy periods, leading to longer wait times or an inability to get a haircut.
Overall, Reynolds Barber Shop has built a strong reputation based on its long-standing tradition, skilled barbers, welcoming atmosphere, and affordability. However, there are areas that could be improved, such as managing wait times during busy periods and potentially expanding the number of barbers to accommodate demand. These considerations can help ensure that Reynolds Barber Shop continues to meet and exceed customer expectations.

We've been bringing our boys here every vacation since they were little, and now adults - over 20 years. First cuts with CL, and now his son Ben. Great tradition.
Nothing beats getting to stop by Reynolds and sitting down, enjoying great conversation with a great haircut. Ben is awesome and makes you feel at home. Start your vacation or work week feeling fresh with a stop by Reynolds barber shop!
Love this place! As a tourist looking for a haircut, I looked around and debated in going to a few different places but settled here at Reynolds! Honestly, its a little hole in the wall place to me, and it only had one seat, but the environment, the location, the people working there make the experience awesome. I've never been to a barber but they definitely gave me a good first experience. And honestly it was one of the best haircuts I've ever gotten. If I was a local I'd make this my primary place to get haircuts!
I haven't been in this awesome local Barber shop in many years, ( I used to bring my youngest son and later my grandson here for an affordable and always good..haircut ,that was probably 10 years ago) I was so happy to see the family business was still open recently when I was trying to find a place that was kid friendly and bring in my twin grandsons of 6 years old..I was strolling by and saw they were still open, walked in without an appointment ( thank you for taking us on) and immediately went back in time, it's a great down-home style Barber shop, not all the fancy stuff that's not needed but a shop that makes you feel you've walked back in time, a place you feel comfortable chatting with the Owner/Barber and anyone else who may be in there.. its definitely a man's shop, for my grandsons were so entertained by the deer heads mounted, the cool items that covered the walls, they have never sat so still and I believe were disappointed when there hair was done.. they loved the offered lollipop and the penny (yes just a penny) ballgum machine... Ben thank you for doing such a awesome job, especially since they had attempted cutting each others hair. What a time... but he had them looking handsome and did it with ease... it's obvious he knows what he's doing, and as years before when I remembered his father cutting my other boys hair, he's definitely inherited the talent of his dad...I'm so glad I found your shop again and will definitely be following up with my grandsons next haircut in the near future.. til then I'd recommend stopping by or calling for I know this time of year hours can vary.. I give him 5 plus stars..not only for great service and affordable prices..but for being so good with the 6 yr.old twins..that in its self is a talent.. thank you for the great job! ( and I enjoyed listening to the chatting of the customer's while I waited, I was definitely entertained and even got some local news at the same time" )
Best haircut I have got in a long while I'll be returning as a regular.
Like everyone says , he gets em out as the come in! Quality gentlemen haircut and shave ! Very busy little shop but the wait wasn't long at all even tho CL. Was the only barber on duty . Love the shop and the traditional feel . Once in a life time spot and prices. Definitely stop here to get your hair cut by CL , at first your going to be sitting there like no way !!! But the guy gives great cuts ! 59 years strong he is good ! Shave it worth it! Back home I usually pay $60 + tip for everything he offers . A must ! I think if I come back again I will forsure stop again if they are still there and make it a tradition. The little town is always nice if you have the wife and kids waiting
Got a great haircut from a friendly barber who makes you feel welcomed. Everyone recommends this place, now I know why!
Just read the 1 star review from Colleen Campbell. She obviously isn't from around here and would have been better suited going to a salon. Reynolds Barber shop is a down home, legitimate shop where you're taken back in time. If there's a wait, it's part of the experience. The conversations had in that shop are legendary. If you're a tourist visiting, it would do you well just to sit and listen. Furthermore, these are difficult times and the shop is doing the best it can under the guidelines set forth. Shame on you for rating this 62 year establishment with a 1 star.
