Quick Facts About Sabrina Hair Braiding
Sabrina Hair Braiding has a number of strengths that are highlighted in the comments provided. Firstly, many customers praise the quality of their hair braiding skills. They mention that the staff at Sabrina Hair Braiding do a good job of braiding hair, and they mention going to the salon for years with only one bad experience. This showcases that the stylists at Sabrina Hair Braiding have extensive experience and knowledge in their craft, and are able to produce high-quality braided hairstyles for their customers.
Another strength of Sabrina Hair Braiding is their pricing system. Some customers mention that the salon has a braid size chart and provides customers with a specific price upfront. This transparency in pricing is appreciated by customers, as it allows them to know exactly what they will be paying for their hairstyle. Additionally, some customers mention that Sabrina Hair Braiding provides the hair for the braiding service, which is seen as a plus. Other salons may require customers to bring their own hair, which can be an inconvenience and an additional expense for the customer.
Furthermore, a few customers mention that the owner of Sabrina Hair Braiding is welcoming and professional. They mention receiving good customer service and praise the owner for her accommodations and professionalism. This indicates that the owner of the salon takes pride in her business and strives to create a positive and welcoming environment for her customers.
However, there are several weaknesses mentioned in the comments that should also be addressed. One common complaint about Sabrina Hair Braiding is the unprofessionalism and rude attitudes of the staff. Multiple customers mention experiencing rude behavior and a lack of courtesy from the employees. This is a major weakness as customer service is a crucial aspect of running a successful business. Rude behavior and unprofessionalism can leave a negative impression on customers and discourage them from returning to the salon.
Additionally, some customers mention that the pricing at Sabrina Hair Braiding is inconsistent. They mention being charged varying prices for the same hairstyle, which can be frustrating for customers. Inconsistency in pricing can lead to confusion and a lack of trust in the business. Customers want to feel that they are being treated fairly and consistently when it comes to pricing.
Another weakness mentioned is the discomfort experienced during the braiding process. Some customers mention that the braids were done too tightly, resulting in headaches and discomfort. This highlights a lack of attention to customer comfort and well-being during the hairstyling process. It is important for stylists to listen to their customers and adjust their techniques to ensure their clients' comfort.
Furthermore, some customers mention that there were instances of employees arguing in front of paying customers. This showcases a lack of professionalism and proper employee training regarding decorum and customer service. Employees arguing in front of customers can create a negative and uncomfortable atmosphere, which can drive customers away.
In conclusion, Sabrina Hair Braiding has strengths in their braiding skills and transparent pricing system. However, they face weaknesses in terms of unprofessional behavior, inconsistent pricing, discomfort during the hairstyling process, and employee arguments in front of customers. Addressing these weaknesses will be crucial for the success and reputation of Sabrina Hair Braiding.

It's like they think they are paying you to come to their shop. The attitude! The unprofessionalism. The varying prices for the same thing. Person doing my hair stopped 3 times and then had the nerve to finish the top of my hair bigger then the rest. I had to look at it and look at her. She started undoing it same time because she knew. And it won't get better because they don't pride themselves on courtesy. So many people can't be lying.
I went there on Thursday 5/13 and upon my arrival the owner “Gloria” was unprofessional from jump no mask on, eating food at the desk. I provided my own hair, and hair products. The girl doing my hair was with child and clearly was uncomfortable, no one made me feel welcome. Way too much attitude. They were speaking in their language the whole time. Half way through my style she tells me a different price from what was discussed via phone call before my arrival. She felt that it was cool to come stand beside me and scream and yell. My style was rushed and it looks old and it hasn’t even been a week. I am very disappointed. I posted photos. I paid 150 dollars for a style that barely is lasting a week what a rip off. I will never go back there and ladies don’t waste your time you can go to magic fingers in NY and get it done right.
Amy was Absolutely Amazing! I was able to book an appointment for the same day by the owner who was very professional and accommodating! The owner continued to spray lysol during the course of the day and the place was clean. Considering I have a short hair cut and my first time getting my hair braided. Amy was able to to braid my hair in the exact style I wanted from a picture. They now have a new client!!
1st of all let me say they do hair well!!!
Yes they are a little unprofessional but I feel like that's almost ever braiding spot in that area.
I've been going on and off for the past 10yrs and I've only had on bad experience where she made the braids too large in the middle
They have a braid size chart and will give you a specific price up front.
You do not have to bring your own hair.

So I went in to get my hair braided they finish n did not even trim the unwanted hairs from the braids n they charged me a huge some of money.hello if I pay more money,I expect for my hair to be done well.the other incident was,I went there to do my hair n one lady's comment was "she has a big hair like two people hair" n I did understood what she said...customers should not be treated like that. What happened to customer service??
Simply put, a lot of these hair braiding shops need to do better ! Remember why you started your businesses in the first place. But this shop in particular, was unprofessional, rude and lackluster. Employees should not be arguing in front of paying customers. This seems to be a regular occurrence for this shop. The owner is really nice, but her staff needs a crash course lesson on manners, decorum, and customer service. Do better, your brand will thank you.
They have very nasty attitude and I cannot believe they are still in business they very unprofessional and they act like they are doing you favor they do not know how to talk to people and they overcharged you when u become there customer there price is never consistent even when you get the same style and size of braids all the time DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE
The owner was very welcoming. I called prior to showing up, she accommodated me immediately and told me the box braids I had requested for would take 4-5 hours to be completed. Honestly, I did not expect to be done in 3 hours! The service was fast, I did not have any problems while there. My only complain is the grip strength, I ought to be used to this as an african, however it was just to darn tight! A day later and I experienced pounding headache, it felt as tho my scalp was peeling up! I did voice my concern to the braider asking her to reduce her grip strength, however that did not work. Another issue I had was the way some of the workers would talk, they should try to be respectful of clients, I understand French (they had no idea obviously) and I could easily hear what they were saying. Asides from that, the work was done fast, neat, painfully tight (ouch) and beautiful. Pricing is great(in my opinion), and they provide you with hair, which is a plus. Some other braiders will charge you more and ask you to bring your own hair, at the end of the day you end up paying more. So personally,I do appreciate that the price includes the hair. If I do return here, I would honestly demand (yup) that grip strength be reduced, if not I’ll carry myself out of the store. I can’t be paying to loose my edges sis, nope.
