Quick Facts About First Nails
First Nails place, based on the comments above, has both strengths and weaknesses.
Starting with the strengths, one comment mentions that they have made improvements over time. This indicates that the salon is willing to listen to feedback and work towards enhancing their services. Additionally, there is a customer who has been going to First Nails for 10 years and highly recommends it, specifically mentioning Kim as doing a great job. This indicates that there are experienced and skilled nail technicians at the salon. Another comment mentions the presence of massage chairs and quality chat, which enhances the overall experience for customers. Providing a comfortable and relaxing environment is a positive aspect for a nail salon.
Moving on to the weaknesses, one comment highlights a recurring issue with a specific staff member who did not fulfill the customer's request and charged them incorrectly. This demonstrates a lack of attention to customer requests and a potential lack of communication within the salon. Moreover, another comment mentions that a staff member drilled the customer's skin instead of their nail, causing pain and discomfort. This indicates a lack of care and professionalism on the part of the staff member. Additionally, this specific incident was laughed off by the staff member, further reflecting a lack of concern for the customer's well-being. Another comment highlights a situation where the owner confronted a long-time customer in a confrontational and hostile manner over a misunderstanding. This incident showcases a lack of professionalism on the part of the owner and raises concerns about how customers are treated. Poor customer service is also mentioned in another comment, with an aggressive and rough nail technician during a pedicure session. This further emphasizes the importance of providing a comfortable and enjoyable experience for customers.
Another weakness reported is the lack of cleanliness and sanitation at the salon. Multiple comments mention issues such as dirty walls and floors, unsanitized tools, and towels left on the floor. Hygiene and cleanliness are crucial in a nail salon to ensure the safety and well-being of customers. Using unsanitized tools and not properly cleaning the salon environment can lead to infections and other health issues for customers.
In summary, First Nails place has some strengths such as experienced technicians, improvements over time, and a comfortable environment with massage chairs. However, it also has several weaknesses including a lack of attention to customer requests, unprofessional behavior from staff members, poor customer service, and issues with cleanliness and sanitation. These weaknesses suggest areas where First Nails place could improve to provide a better experience for their customers and enhance their reputation in the industry.
Best TL Reviews
This is not the first time I came and got my nails done here. But normally when I get my nails done, I go to two specific people and it comes out decent. This one lady I went in there and got my nails done and she did not give me what I asked for because she was being lazy and probably didn’t want to do the complete job. I wanted my nails to be completely done over and change the color, and she was forcing a fill, so I just said whatever let me just do the fill. She does the fill and it doesn’t look even. And then charges me $35 when if she were to redo it it would only have been 40. The picture doesn’t even completely justify how uneven it looks, the cameras actually helping it. But it looks like an upside down French manicure with a darker pink towards the root of the nail. I am completely unhappy and unsatisfied with my nails and will not come back again because it’s not the first time they did some foolishness like this. And then the lady lied and said I had gel nails, when I only do dip.
And this message is to the owners please do not contact me to remove my review because I refuse respectfully.
Also, the lady drilled my skin instead of my nail, and when I pulled my hand back, she had a nerves to laugh. She did it multiple times, and you would think that would tell someone to be cautious. And the lady who also does eyebrows, she lied and said she was going to charge my card $30 and she still charge me 35 for the garbage nails. You guys will never get my business again and I will defer everyone from going there that I know.
If you want a good spot to get your nails done, go to Asia nails on commercial in the sunshine Plaza. This is right near the turnpike and the Publix for reference.
Been going here for 3 years now, I always leave satisfied to say the least. They've made much improvements as well. My girl Tina, will ALWAYS get you right, please dont hesitate to book your next nail appt with her / them!
RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL BUSINESS
After 7 years of coming to this place every two weeks , inadvertently I put back in my purse $20 that I had given the owner for change to pay Tiffany her tip . The owner called me after I left demanding I return to the shop, she didn’t allow me to talk . “I have you in camera I have you in camera “ she screamed to me when I tried to ask her what is the issue . I didn’t know what she was talking about as her english is extremely broken . I returned and she came blasting at me , I pulled the $20 and throw them in the floor as I was afraid she might hit me . The owner is a heavyset lady . I am still puzzled as I don’t understand how being a regular client that has always paid , for seven years why was I treated this way she
The success of any business is not only on the services they provide but on how they treat their client . This is a unprofessional business , the owner is rude and does not treat her clients with respect.
As you probably assume, I will not return to this place and hope those that want to be treated with respect will never go there .
I do branding for a Global Company and business reputation is crucial nowadays . I will be posting this review on every exiting site on earth .
I love first nails! I have been going for 10 years and they are always so sweet and do the best dip mani and pedi. I highly recommend this salon and Kim a great job!
First time. Last time. This place is depressing. The most glaring problem is cleanliness. There were towels from a previous pedicure, I assume, left on the floor the whole time I was there. The walls and floors were filthy. Someone's lunch was atop the unused nail tool sanitizer box with balled up towels. I say unused because the cuticle cutter used on my nails were not sanitized. He pulled them from his cart, took off the plastic tip protector and proceeded to tend to my nails. When done he replaced the cap and put the cutters on his cart. Needless to say I was ecstatic when he sprayed my nails with alcohol after... kill those germs and pray I don't get a fungus! Another bothersome item is they remove gel polish by using the drill. For those with thin, sensitive nail beds this method of taking off my polish is not favorable. I can go on, but here I pointed out the main problems I had issue with. You should bring your own tools if you still decide to go. And extra alcohol.
Harmed my teacher and didn't care. Infact no one cared. Literally she was bleeding down her arm. And her nail tech didn't care. He just kept going, while she was bleeding.
Poor customer service. I went in for a pedicure. Not only was the polish sloppily applied but the male nail tech was aggressive and rough with my feet. I can not and do not recommend. Choose another salon.
It's always a breeze and pleasant to have nail treatment here. Lilly and T (her bf) are the absolute best.
Massage chairs and quality chat enhances the experience big time.
