Quick Facts About High Desert Gas Mart
High Desert Gas Mart is a gas station located in Lucerne Valley. It has received mixed reviews from customers, highlighting both strengths and weaknesses. In this analysis, we will explore these comments to provide a comprehensive understanding of the establishment.
One notable strength mentioned in the comments is the friendly and helpful staff. Customers consistently praise the employees, describing them as "awesome" and noting their positive interactions. This positive customer service experience is vital, as it creates a welcoming atmosphere and gives customers a sense of satisfaction.
Another strength of the High Desert Gas Mart is its competitive gas prices. One reviewer noted that the gas prices in Lucerne Valley are the cheapest in town, making it an attractive option for fueling up. This competitive pricing can draw in customers from the surrounding areas and potentially provide a steady stream of business.
Additionally, customers appreciate that the gas station offers propane. This is a valuable service, particularly for those living in rural areas where access to propane may be limited. The convenience of being able to refill propane tanks at High Desert Gas Mart is beneficial for both local residents and travelers passing through the area.
The comment about having a small market that provides various essential items is another strength of the establishment. Offering convenience store essentials within the gas station allows customers to grab necessary items while refueling or stopping for a quick snack. This can save time for customers and potentially increase sales for the gas station.
However, the comments also highlight several weaknesses that need to be addressed. The cleanliness of the gas station's bathroom is a significant concern. One commenter emphasizes the need for the owner to invest in cleaning and improving the bathroom facilities. Ensuring clean and well-maintained restrooms is crucial for maintaining customer satisfaction and hygiene standards.
Another weakness mentioned is the lack of phone responsiveness. A customer living 20 minutes away expressed frustration at not being able to call and check propane availability, resulting in wasted trips to the gas station. Improving phone responsiveness can enhance customer convenience and prevent unnecessary trips.
Furthermore, there are concerns about overcharging and potential issues with debit card transactions. One customer claims that the gas station charged their cards incorrectly, resulting in double charges. Although this is an isolated incident, it highlights a need for increased transparency and accuracy in financial transactions. Addressing this issue and ensuring fair pricing practices will help promote trust and loyalty among customers.
Lastly, a customer suggests the addition of a fountain drink station, indicating that it would make the gas station a perfect pit stop. This comment implies that the absence of a fountain drink station could be a minor inconvenience and potentially detracts from the overall customer experience. Addressing this suggestion could further enhance the gas station's appeal and increase customer satisfaction.
In conclusion, High Desert Gas Mart has some notable strengths, such as its friendly staff, competitive gas prices, propane availability, and convenience store essentials. However, it also has weaknesses that need to be addressed, including cleanliness issues, lack of phone responsiveness, potential overcharging concerns, and the absence of a fountain drink station. By addressing these weaknesses and building upon its strengths, High Desert Gas Mart can improve its overall offerings and customer experience.

The service is good, prices not so much and the bathroom is absolutely disgusting! The owner needs to put a few dollars into it and clean it up!
All the people that work there are awesome.
I would like to be able to call and check if they have propane available. But they never answer the phone. I live over 20 minutes away from here. And last 2 times i went up there. They were out of propane. I simple 30 second phone call would be nice
A gas is the cheapest in Lucerne Valley, they have propane, and they have a little market that has just about you need.
They charge you to my mucj
I recently had an encounter where I made a purchase and went to pay for it with one of my debit cards. There was not enough funds on one card for the purchase so I gave him a different card. That night when I got home and check my balance on both cards one was minus the money it did have which was not enough for the full purchase and the other card was minus the money for the amount of the purchase I did make. So without making any accusations I am simply stating that they ran both my cards took all the money that was on one and didn't deduct it from the balance from the second one so therefore I was charged full price on one card and what money I did have on the second card. Plus they are known for charging more for items than what twice actually is. If anyone who reads this has had a similar experience please post back to me please . It's not that I have a problem with Matt personally or any of his employees, and it's not that I'm trying to hurt his business all I'm doing is trying to just let the truth be known to everybody. If people choose to still shop there that's great that's their prerogative but it is also my prerogative to tell the truth of my own experience
Needs a fountain drink station then it would be perfect pit stop
