Quick Facts About True Images Barber Shop
True Images Barber Shop, based on the comments provided, has a mix of strengths and weaknesses. Let's begin by discussing the strengths of the barbershop:
1. Excellent customer service: Multiple comments mention the friendly greeting and positive attitude displayed by John and Chris, the barbers. This highlights the welcoming atmosphere of the shop and their ability to make customers feel comfortable.
2. Skilled barbers: Customers appreciate the skilled barbers at True Images Barber Shop. One individual mentions that their cut is flawless, while another praises the patience and skill demonstrated in dealing with a young child. This indicates that the barbers are highly competent in their craft and can deliver quality haircuts.
3. Engaging discussions: Clients enjoy the diverse range of topics discussed at the barbershop, spanning from sports to movies. This allows for a lively and enjoyable experience during the haircut, creating a sense of camaraderie and connection between the barbers and customers.
4. Centrally located: True Images Barber Shop is situated at a convenient location, at the corner of Washington Ave and Henry Johnson. Being centrally located makes it easily accessible for customers, enhancing its appeal.
Moving on to the weaknesses:
1. Poor experience leading to injury: One comment highlights a negative experience where the customer's face was injured during the haircut. This raises concerns about the barbers' attention to detail and technique, as well as their ability to prioritize customer safety and satisfaction.
2. High prices: Several comments mention that the barbershop is overpriced. One individual states that the cost of the haircut is too high, particularly considering that additional touch-ups may be required shortly after. This suggests that True Images Barber Shop may not offer value for money compared to other options.
3. Limited expertise in certain styles: A customer expresses dissatisfaction with the barbershop's ability to execute modern hairstyles effectively, such as fades, tapers, and the maintenance of wave patterns. This implies that True Images Barber Shop may not be the best choice for individuals seeking contemporary, trendy haircuts.
4. Older equipment and potential for injuries: One comment mentions that the barbershop frequently uses older equipment, leading to cuts and nicks during the haircut. This raises concerns about the maintenance and quality of equipment, which affects the overall safety and experience for customers.
5. Long wait times: Despite having a relatively small number of clients present, one customer complains about waiting for over an hour to receive a haircut. This indicates a potential lack of efficiency in managing appointments and ensuring timely service.
In conclusion, True Images Barber Shop has strengths such as excellent customer service, skilled barbers, engaging discussions, and a convenient location. However, it also exhibits weaknesses including poor experiences resulting in injuries, high prices, limited expertise in certain styles, usage of older equipment, and long wait times. These factors should be taken into consideration when deciding on a barbershop.

John has been my barber for about 5 years now. I am always greeted with a smile and big hello by him and Chris. My cut is flawless!!!
The discussions range from sports to movies and all things in between. Its a great experience.
Worst Barber Shop I've ever been to sliced and diced my face I'm still putting peroxide on my face as we speak don't go there I will not recommend to a friend the worst barbershop in the capital region the owner unprofessional thinks you're there to serve him do not go there ever cost me $30 and I still gave him a tip don't go
My 22 month old son has received two haircuts from Tru Images Barbershop. Both times the barbers were patient and very skillful in handling a child who constantly moved his head. I recommend them fully!
They are centrally located at the corner of Washington Ave and Henry Johnson. We recommended them!
Very Neat and simple shop. Designed for older guests.OVERPRICED. Especially since your going to need a touch up in a few days. They are a barber shop for Older clients with Appointments. They don’t do younger styles well like fades, tapers, etc. DO NOT GO IF YOU HAVE WAVES. They literally tried to cut out the wave pattern in my head. They constantly utilize older equipment so be prepared for nicks and cuts from razors clippers even the combs. They will take their time though as they are very respectful people and try to listen. I gave their Master barber two chances to prove his worth, and Lets just say Im going to be growing my hair out for at least three months to recover from this disaster. I made the mistake of getting a cut from them two days before vacation. As soon as i touched the salt water at the beach all of the cuts scrapes and nicks from their equipment quickly became apparent.
If you just want a quick trim and your not concerned with Precision enjoy their space. If you like sharp lines , Ceasars, fades, and maintenance of Wave pattern avoid this shop.
Great place to get a haircut
It's a new barber shop for me only been there twice the first time I went was because the barber I went to messed up my head and I was recommended to go there and see John who fixed the messed up cut the day before my birthday I was so pleased with what he had accomplished i decided to make him my new and improved barber the second time I went after two weeks giving my hair time to grow he did a wonderful work got home my mate was also very pleased with the cut recommended also that I show stick with that barber AMEN...
GREAT JOB
Service was decent, but extremely overpriced. They charged me $25 for a haircut, this is absolutely outrages. Save your money and go to supercuts where you can get the same hair cut for literally almost half the price. This is the most I have ever payed for a hair cut and the last time I will ever stop by. They charged me $25 for a high and tight by the way, the most simple of all haircuts. Embarrassing for them, border line pathetic.
Most barbers I've been to are first come first serve had to wait over an hour for a cut even tho there weren't alot of ppl there. They barber did a great job tho an was engaged in conversation once you're in the chair.
