Quick Facts About Cut It Out Barbershop

Cut It Out Barbershop has several strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided.
Starting with the strengths, one customer mentioned that the end result of their haircut and beard trim was great. This suggests that the barbers at Cut It Out Barbershop have the skill and talent to provide quality haircuts and grooming services.
Another positive aspect mentioned by a different customer is the great environment and nice people. This indicates that the barbershop has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, making customers feel comfortable and relaxed during their visit. Additionally, the fact that this customer chose Cut It Out Barbershop over their cousin's own shop speaks to the quality and satisfaction they experienced.
However, there are also several weaknesses highlighted by different customers. One customer reported getting cuts above their eyelids and expressed concern about the sanitation of the equipment used. This suggests a potential lack of attention to detail and hygiene practices at Cut It Out Barbershop.
Another customer mentioned their negative experience with one specific barber, Victor. They claimed that he made inappropriate advances and showed unprofessional behavior by prioritizing a late appointment over their 7-year-old son's appointment. This raises concerns about the professionalism and conduct of the barbers at Cut It Out Barbershop.
Furthermore, a different customer mentioned that the barbers at Cut It Out Barbershop lack dedication and do not have enough staff on hand to handle walk-in customers efficiently. The customer specifically mentioned long wait times and the barbers not adhering to their own schedule. This indicates potential management or organization issues that result in customer dissatisfaction and waiting times.
Another customer complained about the lack of child-friendly atmosphere. They mentioned that the barbers were cursing and swearing in front of children, which can create an uncomfortable and inappropriate environment. This highlights a lack of professionalism and consideration for customers with young children.
Lastly, a customer strongly criticized their experience as a walk-in, mentioning that they had to wait for an extended period of time while other barbers were available but not attending to them. The customer also observed unprofessional behavior from one barber who left to go to Dunkin Donuts instead of taking the waiting customer. This reflects a lack of attention to customer service and meeting the needs of walk-in customers.
In conclusion, while Cut It Out Barbershop has strengths such as skilled barbers and a friendly environment, there are notable weaknesses including potential hygiene issues, unprofessional behavior from specific barbers, lack of dedication, and poor customer service for walk-ins. Addressing these weaknesses could significantly improve the overall customer experience at Cut It Out Barbershop.

I’m not a regular customer, I’ll pass by every few months to get a line up or fade, and get my facial hair cleaned up etc. Today was packed (due to the holidays) and I came in for a walk in. Waiting wasn’t an issue. I had this dude who I never seen before there line me up and clean up my facial hair, the end result was great, but he didn’t use any oil (Idk what’s it called) on my face while doing my eyebrows and as a result I ended up getting cut above both my eyelids. They’re not deep cuts, but they are visible. Aside from that inconvenience, everything was decent.
Edit - actually on further inspection one of the cuts above my eyebrow is actually a scrape. It’s almost like he peeled my skin with the razor. Kind of concerned now if the equipment the barber used was properly sanitized. ????
I was takin my boy here for a hair cut by victor, who is suppose to be married as well as the owner, I had got to the point I stopped goin in and just send my son for the cut, due to victor always tryna holla, they both be in my DMs, however I kept it professional on my end, I made it clear I was not interested, however I guess the rejection sparked some bad emotions because he made an appt for my son at 2pm we get there on time, and he made my son wait until he was done with the late hair cut, whom should’ve waited. My son is only 7, and he took a late hair cut for a teenager, over a kid who was in time.
This is the best barbershop I been to. My cousin owns his own shop and I still chose CUT IT OUT. Always ready if u have appointment. Great conversation nice people and great environment. Would not change a thing.
I brought my 7 yr old grandson here for a 2pm appt with Victor, and we were on time, however he pushed him back, and took a late appt for a teenager before my grand son, that was very very unprofessional, he is so not kid friendly, My grandson will not be coming back!
When a guy goes to a barbershop, we expect to leave feeling a certain way, Cut It Out barbershop knows just the formula in which to do exactly that. It's been a while since I been in such an atmosphere where I could kick back, and get a great haircut/shave all the while feeling as if I'm relaxing with the boys.
The guys here have talent but no dedication. There’s 8 spots but you’ll scarcely see more than two barbers in there at a time so if you’re a walk in expect insanely long waits. Plus They don’t open on time according to their own schedule. You’re better off going to Platinum Fades on harlem by diversey cause they’re two dollars cheaper and even if you don’t have an appointment they have enough barbers working to get you out of there. Went to ‘Cut it Out’ one day, there was a walk in a head of me and two people in the chairs. When the one barber finished he left out instead of taking the walk in. I went to Platinum as a walk in. Waited 2 min. Got cut. Drove by the shop and that same walk in was still waiting. Read the reviews for this place before going. Walk-ins are a real problem for them. They’re quick to apologize here but they make no strides to fixing their issues. This place is best with appointment only and even then I still recommend any place else if you’ve got better things to do rather than spend half a day waiting to get a hair cut.
Started going here a few months. I have to be honest and state the place is aesthetically pleasing and the barber's tend to be friendly, watch the news, and mind their business. Vic started as friendly and catering to the needs of my child and I. Shortly after my coming on the regular, he appeared to be annoyed by my presence. My speculations were correct when he threw a tantrum when I came late ONE time, although I've had to wait 15'- 30 minutes( I make my appointments). I opted Does respect my child, but screw me,as I am the one having and hustling to bring them there. Maybe someone else will have a better experience with him. I shall not be returning there.
If I could give 0 stars, I would. Today was my first time coming to this barbershop, after a couple of months of not getting my haircut. I walk in, early at about 8:40am, really excited to get my haircut. I get in, about two barbers ask me what I'm here for and what kind of cut I want. I tell them and I am assuming that pretty soon, the next available chair that was open, would have me in it. NOPE! I sat there from 8:40 to 10:12, sitting and waiting as SIX...SIX OTHER BARBERS CUT HAIR! They knew what I was there for but they were too busy yapping their mouths off and taking in appointments, they forgot and didn't care for me. One barber, Bobby, had some free time but instead of letting a walk-in like me get a cut, he makes a run to Dunkin Donuts. REALLY?! Plus, it's not kid friendly at all! ALL OF THE BARBERS WERE CURSING AND SWEARING AND THERE WAS A LITTLE KID IN THERE! TWO ACTUALLY! There is another barber who was smoking weed outside and covered in tattoos. I mean, this place sucks! Whatever you do, do not go here, you will be disappointed like I was. It's a waste of time. They may be good barbers but none of them know how to run a business correctly. Please avoid this barber shop at all cost! This has been a warning.
