I will never return to this salon. Stopped by to get a dip manicure before my vacation. I’ve never been so disappointed in my nails before. The powder is uneven. The top coat is streaky and doesn’t even cover the full nail sometimes. There are white marks on nearly every nail, and I’m looking at them at the lady finished me up thinking “surely she isn’t just going to let me leave like this???” But yep. She didn’t even address it. I couldn’t stay to have it redone because I had another appointment after that I couldn’t be late for. I was so upset having wasted two hours of my day and my money. I can do my own nails better and have never received a dip manicure like this anywhere else. Just awful. Save your money. Even if they are the only place with availability when you need to go. It is just not worth it.
Went for acrylic removal and boy did I get it. My natural nails got removed too! I should have just taken them off at home, saved 10 bucks, and been mad at myself for not doing it the “right way”… whatever that is. One can do a simple google search and see how to remove acrylics with minimal damage to your natural nail. Soaking them in acetone is tedious and time consuming, so I opted to go to a professional for a service they provide, to save myself some aggravation.
My visit went like this… I sat down and the lady started cutting all willy-nilly at the acrylics, with clippers. Her first mistake was that she did not even look on the underside of the acrylics to see if there was any natural nail visible… and there was. So, you can see where this is going. My natural nail is being randomly cut along with the acrylics. I said to her, “my natural nails are really long and healthy” (I know, why did I get acrylics you ask? Because I like the durability and dip sometimes lifts and peels). Blatant disregard to my comment about my natural nails because once the length of the acrylics were cut, she whips out an artificial nail…I’m talking the kind that gets glued on to your nail when you go in for a set. She wedges it in between the acrylic, on my nail bed, and my natural nail! Pops all 10 of them suckers off using this method! If you have removed your nails at home, you know this removes layers of your nails. It happened so fast and I did not realize this was the method being used until it was already done. I was in absolute shock. Now I’m left with ugly, paper thin nails that will take months to grow out the damage.
Moral of the story- do NOT go here expecting a professional experience. 10/10 would NOT recommend.
I didn’t feel welcomed from the moment I walked in the door. I sat for 30 + minutes uncomfortably at a finger nail booth with my feet on Ana’s knees getting my acrylic toe nails done. I’ve never experienced this in any nail salon..Ana was a bit rude & got upset when I told her my toe nails weren’t the way I liked them. No wonder it was so empty on a Friday!! The customer service is poor! I felt like I was bothering her. The guy who did my pedicure was really nice though! I HATE my toe nails with a passion. I would not recommend going here. Stick to who you know ????‍????
Tina is the absolute best nail tech I've ever been to. She always does an amazing job on my nails and I love that as I get fill in the tips get cut down where eventually it's my real nail with acrylic and polish on top. Her nail art is unbeatable!! Price is the best around! Today I treated myself to a pedicure bc why not and get mom(I believe) did it and it was amazing! Also price was fantastic. So overall I'd never waste tone going anywhere else but here! If you're looking for a new nail place once you've been here you'll never let about person do your nails again. These are just a few of the designs she's done for me based on either a pic I've shown her or me just telling her what I wanted. Check out their fb page and see more of her work. I promise you won't be disappointed.
Please don’t come here if you want dip powder or designs like ombré 3 techs had to do my nails and I still left u happy. Tina the owner asked me where I normally go to get my nails done then asked why I come there? I have never experience customer service in this way. I never gotten apology that I was unhappy I was charged full price as well! This place basically specialize in only basic nail art she also proceeded to ask where I work and asked me was I stress because my job I told her my job is very stress free and this has nothing with my nails or me bein unhappy. I will never come back!
Love ocean nails! Tina is an exceptional artist and always does an amazing job. She is very skilled in hand painted designs.
I got my nails done here twice, First time wasn’t anything special basic fill in. Second she charged me 60 for a fill with a basic gel polish. Would not recommend this place. Prices change every two weeks.
Tina did an amazing job! I love them so much!!????????
